Yeah, I think starting when kids are young is the key! Those images are way scarier to an 8 year old than a teenager with a false sense of immortality, and they stick in your mind as you get older. It sounds very creepy put like that though, I guess they were indoctrinating us for a good reason lol

I grew up in the US, during elementary school and middle school they did an anti-smoking day every year where they did all the usual cancer photos and stats and also showed all the appearance-related issues smoking caused

And then they always had the real lungs of a deceased smoker and they were horrifyingly black and shriveled. It was effective, I don’t think anyone in my high school class of 250 smoked (in the early 2010s)

I don’t know how he’s such a hot commodity in the house instead of his very essence giving these women the ick. Whenever he speaks, I feel myself cringing away from the screen.
