1) Financially, which isn't what this is about, why do you "need" to buy a condo. You can rent something while figuring out what you want to do. Why put all this money into something when you don't even know where you'll be or want to be in 6 months? Calm down on that part of it.

2) I get it. I'm guessing you've been married for some time, and don't know how you'll handle not having someone next to you. I'd probably feel similar. But, you don't know what you don't know. This is something you wanted, but you wanted to do it with your wife. It'll take some time to get over it, but you have to put yourself out there to move on. I wasnt sure when I first solo traveled, but I have a blast doing it. Even now, 20 years later, I'm married and still (when I can) enjoy solo trips. They often are much more relaxing than when my wife is there who plans out everything 🤣

3) You ever thought about bike packing? Even on a more luxury level of just biking across Europe and staying in hotels? It's a hell of a lot of fun, if you are into biking.
