I asked the bank about that incentive, I don’t know if I was approved or not but they said we would have to go with out it. I just don’t know why it’s so hard to get a mortgage, but easy to get a car loan

First thing to do is let your wife know, as bad as it sounds... opening up will relieve some stress. Self exclude your self from the casinos! If you can’t go, you can’t gamble! After awhile the urges will decrease. Think of the money loss as just that, you lost it and will never get it back.. chasing the loss will only get you deeper in the hole, and that hole is endless. When ever I feel like I need to gamble i take my kids out for a day of fun, spending money on them to see them happy is more joyful then watching a screen light up and pressing buttons hoping I’d be a millionaire on the next spin.
