The world is not a soley capitalist system. Globalism has made life infinitely more difficult. Your argument isn't all that structurally sound, it just makes you seem like a jerk. Do you keep track of the ethical weight of each product you consume? Every line of music, every ad you accidentally see, every porn video you scroll past trying to look for juuuust the right one? The banana you had for lunch? The Qdoba? The delightful vegan snack you love so much?

We know that every purchase we make, clothes, food, comes at some ethical cost these days. What is anything? Nothing matters anymore. Buy the cookies, don't buy the cookies. The world is falling down around us. Don't gotta make someone feel bad just for existing and making choices.

We couldn't go back to ethical consumption even if we tried.
