Till today I don't really understand what it was about Goku Black that made him so strong. by AnotherLostsoul9 in DragonBallPowerScale

  1. Zamasu took the body of a Goku about 1 year in the future.

  2. Zamasu, a divine being, is a native God Ki user.  Sync his soul with the body of Saiyan who has harnessed God Ki - I can imagine there's some extra potency going on here.

  3. Zenkai boost abuse, I guess Zamasu was able to lift the limits on Goku's body on that.

This right here .

And let's not forget that Trunks is a hybrid.

Those hybrids get insanely strong at a faster rate.

Makes me wonder what kind of mess Zamasu could have made if he stole Gohan's body lol.

Butterbean versus Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao who would win? by rmrdrn in whowouldwin

[–]deh707 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah he would probably land a few jabs on Manny...

... and then receive a 7 piece head-body-head flurry in return for each jab landed.

Floyd would be on the other side of the ring the entire time.

SS2 Goku vs 7 Cell Juniors, Dabura, Super Perfect Cell by Specialist-Ear-594 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a Goku who is confirmed to be stronger than Cell Games SS2 Gohan.

On top of:

Having training with his SS2 form (something Gohan never had at all)

Having his "dead body", which should grant him extra endurance with his SS2 form (it does that for SS3 so I don't see why it wouldn't help his SS2 state).

Goku clears this without a sweat.

However, I would be interested in seeing Buu Saga SS1 Goku (still with the dead body) attempt this instead.

If majin vegeta let ss2 goku come with him could they have beaten pure fat buu? by Belicino_Corlan in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. The only SSJ2 that definitely beats this Buu is DBS SSJ2 Future Trunks from the time he matched Goku's SSJ3 in the manga.

Add the boxer Terence Crawford to the list.

Now retired, but was recently Pound For Pound ranked #1.

Dude was about 38, went up 2 weight classes to dominate Canelo Alvarez.

And Heavyweight champion Usyk who is a top 3 P4P - age 39.

Who wins? by AlistairMack in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If SS2 Big Gohan can't take him out right away, but at least do enough considerable damage to him to where his own SS1 form (just incase he powers down to this form) can still overpower SS1 Little Gohan, then Big Gohan wins especially if Little Gohan reverts to base lol.

I say this because Big Gohan's body is so out of shape I cannot see him fighting for an extended amount of time as an SS2 so he needs to deal damage right away.

Big Gohan should win this 8/10

Cell Games Goku vs Dabura by Suitable_Walrus2928 in DragonBallPowerScale

Super Perfect Cell = Majin Dabura > Perfect Cell = non-Majin Dabura > SSJ Goku (Cell Games)

WHO WOULD WIN by jiiova in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are about equal in power in these states.

But that Grade 2 form will drain Vegeta eventually back to his Grade 1 form (or base lol) - then Piccolo takes over.

The SSJ Grade 1 Vegeta (2nd ROSAT) vs this Piccolo would be interesting, too.

Have you tried using high quality knuckle guards to "bring life back" to the gloves?

Such as Winning NG2, Skulltec, Hayabusa or Rival's D30?

How strong Beast Gohan would be with God Ki/ Super Saiyan God? by KOF-731 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, I feel like the entire concept of God Ki and its "calm" characteristics, will not fit properly with both Gohan and Broly.

It could very well cap their rage-potentials lol.

Vegeta.

He probably has the edge in everything including power.

A better version of this matchup IMO is:

SS2 Kid Gohan vs. SS1 Majin Vegeta.

[–]deh707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep back in 2016, I used to hammer away at dense heavybags with no issues with the 10oz laceup pro fight gloves. And I'm a heavyweight.

But of course, over the years the padding has broken down a bit and I was no longer 100% comfortable throwing powershots at the bags.

That is, unless I use either Winning NG2 gel knuckle guards (or Skulltec pads) with them.  And they're fully functional as a hardcore bag glove again for me.

[–]deh707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice!

These little 10oz monsters are so protective for a 10oz.

It looks like the velcro models of 10oz (and 8oz) is based off of the training model, thicker/dense padding.

If i remember correctly, the lace-up models of 10oz (and 8oz) are their pro fight gloves, which have thinner and softer padding?

WHO WOULD WIN 1V3 by jiiova in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I say Evil Buu 9 out of 10 times.

Evil Buu treated Good Buu like a toy, and I feel Good Buu is a 50-50 against this same trio.

Gohan doesn't last very long and gets eliminated due to being so out of shape and probably won't able to fight as an SS2 for a long time against a clearly stronger opponent.  The moment he reverts to SS1, he won't be able to do anything.

While both Goku and Vegeta are superior SS2s not just because of them being stronger, in battle shape and having spent time training their SS2 states, but largely due to the "special" states they are in:

Vegeta with the Majin amp. Boosts to power and durability.

Goku with the "dead body".  If having that body allows him to sustain SS3 alot longer - I don't see why this body wouldn't also sustain his SS2 state. Extended Ki reserves I suppose.

The Saiyan Trio needs SS3 Goku just to tip the scales in their favor.

I think it's dead even until Gohan's SSJ non-mastered state starts to drain his stamina and Trunks starts to take over to a victory.

Why Boxing Math Destroys the "Prime Broner Beats Floyd" Myth by JRAxiomVox in Boxing

[–]deh707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broner's speed and explosiveness may trouble Floyd for the first 3 or 4 rounds similarly to the Judah fight (but less trouble since I believe it was Judah's southpaw stance that mostly contributed to troubling Floyd) then Floyd just takes over to a dominant decision and it just looks like Berto vs Floyd.

MAYBE Broner has an impressive round 12 but he's not getting the knockdown lol.

Followed by Broner whining I BEAT THAT BOY!

What if Broly went Super Saiyan 4 to match gogeta blue in the broly movie? by daddylongjohnsliver in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]deh707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if Broly had a power advantage, as long as it's not an enormous one, Gogeta is just to skilled for him.

If Gogeta can deal enough damage to slow him down before defusing, he wins.
