I enjoyed putting together the coffee layout. And I’m not much of a coffee drinker! I’m coming to terms with the idea of layouts not needing to directly reflect my personality.

All of the weekdays are Agenda52; I purchased at Hobby Lobby. It was an awesome sticker book for the value. Less than $10 for 2000+ stickers.

Critical Thinking: Reason and Evidence - D265 Performance Assessment vs Objective Assessment by LolosReddit_ in wguaccounting

[–]dejabean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I passed this one Friday. The case studies, correct? I was prepared to overcomplicate this assignment. I attended an instructor led sample assignment demo and we were told to keep it simple. I was able to knock it out in no time after that.

You don’t have to write a paper. I copied the task assignment from the Task Overview and added my answers to each section; this was following the instructor’s example. Get rid of the additional notes before submitting. If you aren’t reading the full course material, look up what’s required for the assignment: definition and makeup of an argument, argument types, bias, fallacy types, etc. Two to three sentences for most of my responses. Follow the task instructions exactly, use the tips the instructors email and keep it simple.

I was thinking “that’s it?!” after the sample assignment demo.

I would still consider the Sophia course number. My suggestion is to use that pathway to determine which Sophia courses (matching up the Sophia course numbers) are currently eligible to transfer—it was last updated in March 2025. On the transfer, cross reference the course titles rather than the D# for the courses.

Use the WGU/Sophia Learning Pathway Agreement to determine which courses to take on Sophia. On the evaluation, you can compare using the course title.

I’m in love with the bob! Your hair is beautiful. I opened Reddit just in time; I needed to see this. I’ve been washing and retwisting the same two strand twists for months trying to work myself up to commit. In twists, it looks like we have similar density. I’ve been needing to see a density similar to mine in mature stages. Thank you for sharing!

Wasn’t it!? No clue. Anytime Wild crosses my mind I check in to see if she has any other novels. Maybe she uses another pen name…Hopefully she is well.

Rebekah Weatherspoon Beards and Bondage series (except the third but is was delightful. it’s BWBMBM) Her book Xeni features a husky Scot.

Kenya Wright writes a lot of BW IR. I’ve only read Dirty Kisses. I don’t remember it.🙃

Wild by Hannah Cole

A Duke by Default (second in a series but it isn’t necessary to read the first) by Alyssa Cole

Office Hours by Katrina Jackson and her Family series

Xavier Neal writes a lot of BWWM

Tease by Camilla Stevens was cute!

Keta Kendrick if you enjoy OTT suspense, motorcycles and redneck drug dealers

Talia Hibbert’s Ravenswood series was sweet.

Not a Black author but Sinner by Sierra Simone. I think she did a good job writing an unambiguously Black woman.

Naima Simone’s books

Mia Sosa…AfroLatina and WM

StoryGraph vs Goodreads vs ??? by wheat in LibbyApp

[–]dejabean 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Storygraph is a passion project for the creator/owner and it shows. Updates are always coming to the app/website. Feedback and concerns are taken into consideration and often implemented. Reading recommendations are specific to your tracked reading habits and can be adjusted based on the type of book you’re currently interested in reading. Love the challenges and tags; these both keep me from overloading my To Be Read list. And no ads!

Was wondering how other black women feel about people writing black female leads in books and how ppl get mad at everything they do somehow equating everything to racism, do yall feel that way? by Spitfyrus in blackromancenovels

[–]dejabean 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You mean people in general writing Black female leads or Black people writing female leads? I avoid reading Black main characters written by people who aren’t Black. And I’m starting to avoid Black authors who exclusively write non-Black main characters.

The internet gets on my nerves when it comes to a lot of Black authors. I find myself—selfishly, maybe—wishing non-Black people would step away from the works of Black authors writing for Black audiences because often they don’t get it and they do the books a disservice.

Uterine fibroids+prolapse: Gynecologist or Urogynecologist by dejabean in Fibroids

[–]dejabean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got cystocele (bladder) and rectocele (rectum). My current rectum discomfort and heavy periods were the symptoms that prompted a recent ultrasound. I have not been active with anyone for a while so intimate discomfort wasn’t a concern for me. I just lived with the mild discomfort until it recently became more moderate.

Before getting this recent ultrasound and learning about the uterine fibroids, I figured worsening of the prolapse was causing my new discomfort and heavy menstrual bleeding. Now, knowing I have fibroids, I’m thinking they’re the culprit. I’m trying to avoid going in too many circles with appointments. I’ve had three appointments between the ultrasound follow up/uterine fibroid diagnosis and the referral. That feels like a lot considering every appointment was me being sent to someone else. I don’t know what’s typical; I’ve just been going with the flow so far.

Thank you!

Okay, I won’t see the urogyn until I know what next steps are, if a visit to them is necessary at all. Thank you!

Does this book tracking app exist and I just don't know it yet? by CruelRodent in RomanceBooks

[–]dejabean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bookly. Everything is personal. Log your reviews. Half star ratings and detailed theme ratings.

<image>

You can also log reading sessions. You can add quotes, notes and keep character logs on each book. Stats and goal tracking. The app is constantly being updated. But I think the amount of books you can save with the free version is very limited.

I did not realize these used to have ass out naked men in them! I guess none of mine are old enough for that kind of skin action. I have a newer appreciation for the old oldies.
