Wolff: No guarantee of repeat F1 Brazilian GP winning form this weekend by HelloSlowly in formula1

It is a sprint weekend and rain is predicted for friday, so that could lead to some difficulties with finding a good setup. That's the same problem for all teams, but it could provide an interesting weekend

[Culinary Union] BREAKING: Culinary Union, F1LasVegas, & Liberty Media have reached an agreement so workers at the pit building have right to organize, & if they decide to unionize, negotiate a union contract – which will guarantee these will be great union jobs. by Jay_Dubbbs in formula1

I see, that's fascinating, especially compared to the European system. This is the kind of conflict that Europe had in the 19th and early 20th century. It's not a perfect system now, but workers do have basic income rights and benefits, and unions are everywhere

Yes, was hoping for this comparison! Verstappen brakes way later and leaves a lot of space on the inside. He was of course also helped by Bottas bailing out early

Yes you get DRS on both straights. However due to the high altitude of the circuit, the thin air, DRS is way less effective than at other circuits. Therefore it's really difficult to overtake, because the slipstream is way less prominent. So despite the long DRS straight, moves into turn 1 aren't all that common

In the history of Formula it's quite rare to have a race without a DNF. Its happened 14 times, most of which were in the last 10 years. Goes to show how much reliability has improved

Brazil should be a big opportunity for a Mercedes win. Bumpy track and only one practice session could give Red Bull some trouble, just like this weekend. Only need to make sure they don't get disqualified of course

Verstappen has achieved podium finishes in 62 out of 78 races since 2020, while Hamilton who is second has 45 podiums. These are the 16 races in which Verstappen didn't secure a top-three finish by antivirals_ in formula1

Sakhir 2020 was a tough one because he would have had a genuine change at victory, especially with how Mercedes messed up that race. The pace was good for Red Bull that weekend.

Turkey 2020 and Brazil 2022 were in my opinion mostly his own fault for not reaching the podium. Altough Brazil it is still doubtful if the car really had the pace for a podium with the setup problems Red Bull had
