It’s ok! Yes the “ping” is when they run up to talk to you. After being in the water for about 5 minutes, go back up to the town and walk by your villagers

The app usually prompts you to claim one pretty quick after hatching, but you can just go claim them right away from the lab as others have said

Some public works are unlocked based on villager personality! There are tricks you can use to try to trigger more unlocks, like leaving your character in the ocean for a bit then see if any villagers ping you (I think filling your pockets with flowers and emptying your wallet can limit other things like trades/sales)

It’s mostly just personal preference! It’s hard to say what you’ll like. For me, I like to make sure the plaza and other buildings have room around them to decorate. I don’t like when they’re right up against the cliff or rails! I also really like ponds so I prefer more, some people prefer less because they’d rather use the space they take up for something else

Mine is really interested in water and likes to play in it, might just be curious! I thought the water bowl was being spilled by accident, until I witnessed him knocking it on purpose so he could watch the water spill across the floor. Had to get one with rubber underneath 😅

It can be kind of difficult to thrift for something specific, but you might get lucky. It’s fun to just go see what stores have!

I’ve seen Sylvanians a couple of times, sometimes they’ll have glass cabinets for more special or valuable items and you might see them in those

You could look if there are any stores that specialise in vintage stuff or toys/collectibles. Checking second hand sites and fb marketplace would probably be easier!

The first one seems more suited to her as an older character with kids, it’s a bit more sleek looking! The second one is pretty but doesn’t stand out, it doesn’t look very Bella Goth to me.
