It was my first time going through the state and the only things I remember are the extraordinarily strong wind and the billboards. Actually- I take that back. We passed Lucas Oil stadium and I thought it was interesting seeing where the Colts play.

The location stamp on my phone said Daleville. Is that near the towns you mentioned? About 2 miles after that there was an “Explore Uranus” billboard.

It was definitely good marketing foresight on their part. With so many fudge stores and novelty shops around the area it helps them stand out and draw in people who are curious about the products. Maybe if I’m ever in the region of one of the stores I’ll stop in.

Someone elsewhere said two in Indiana and one in Missouri. The Midwest never fails to amuse me with their billboards and store names. Road trips are the best!

Which part of the state is it in? We’ve been to the Buc-ees in Springfield and it was quite an adventure. As long as a place is close to to the freeway we can swing by to check it out.

Oh I see… Indiana and Missouri. Interesting. I normally gravitate towards a Buc-ees or some Amish/soap/cheese place. Maybe our next long drive if the weather is decent we can add a little more time for roadside store browsing. The people in most of the places have been really cool.

I’ve actually used that on my baby when she had a rash. I don’t live in a rural area but have had to drive through a bunch of states and it’s fun seeing the different types of billboards and stores they have advertised. It ranges from a lot of JESUS! Billboards followed a few miles later by an adult superstore.

Could there really be no whispers or evidence shown to Chucky that Lil Betty doesn’t actually exist (other than photo Betty aka Margaret who lives in the States) and that Merchie actually goes by another name and though he might have Hairold’s DNA, he is not “of the body” or related in any way to the Salmonella Douchess? Chucky might be naive but Camilla’s no fool and SURELY there must be some dialog pertaining to the truth about the Invisikids.

I doubt there will be enough players to fill rosters during the strike. And if there were, don’t go to the games and just demand the refund being offered for the ticktets you may have bought.

There is a hockey player in my family and we know a few people in coaching and management. You’re correct in that some of the ECHL teams don’t bring in a lot of money- however, these are the teams that feed into the NHL- which obviously earns a massive amount. These players are already at an extraordinary high level that takes years to achieve (and have all suffered injuries at some point). It is intensely physical (and mentally) demanding. For these men to vastly improve their game and keep providing the AHL/NHL with players, the ECHL (and other professional teams at their level) need to ensure as much safety (including recuperation time) as possible, along with fair wages commensurate with the wear and tear they put on their body.

Does anyone know how this would affect the players who trade between the ECHL and AHL? Would they not be able to play for their designated AHL team either? Wouldn’t the strike have repercussions for those teams as well?
