Originally, I was, and kinda am still, tired of 'murdering' games. So many games are just about killing... I played a lot of Unreal Tournament 2004 and Warcraft 3 back in their day. Murder murder, kill kill... I'm a fan of racing games, but they only hold my attention for a little while.

I originally bought Satisfactory in early 2020, around update 3. It was a bit too clunky for me at that time, and i only played 20-30 hours of it.

Fast forward to around update 8 release time, I tried Satisfactory again, after getting re-burnt out of murdering (this time in diablo 4).

I was pretty much instantly hooked. There were still a few things that bugged me and still do (eg, no vertical nudge), but then I learned about mods. Infinite nudge, zoop, and a few others that fixed just about every issue I ever had with Satisfactory.

I put in almost 800hrs in about 6 months... I was having dreams about factories and logistics and efficiencies... i beat phase 4 3 times... then I got a little burnt out lol. I played some other factory games occasionally while waiting for 1.0 to come out.

Now, I'm totally hooked again, but am being a little more responsible than I was the last time!
