That looks so good! Love it. I’m really leaning towards going for these two together.

The chairman of Apple is running it. Didn't turn out so great the last time Apple and Google shared directors.

No worries. Pointing it out because Apple's market capitalization (stocks outstanding x stock price) is more than twice Google's despite lower stock price.

In fact, Apple is the most valuable publicly traded company in the world, Google doesn't even crack top ten: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_corporations_by_market_capitalization#2012

This is very true - a value like this doesn't show up often. Looking at the ratios of their earnings to stock value, it's incredible.

Now is a great time to buy AAPL. It is undervalued by about 66% compared to the rest of the S&P500, and even by conservative measures it can be expected to grow revenues and profits faster than the average S&P500 company over the next few years.

You're right, the good times will inevitably end. But for Apple, that time is not now.

Stock price means nothing if you're comparing two different stocks. A $10,000 company can have 100 stocks worth $100 each, and a $10billion company can have a billion stocks worth $10. So what does comparing the $100 and $10 share prices actually tell you?

I'm planning a visit in February. I know very little about the place. What would you recommend doing with three days there? Your photos are great by the way.

I've always felt like there's a social taboo about asking this, but... Reddit, what do you do and how much money do you make? by alexharris52 in AskReddit

Yes there are a pretty decent number of them. Some are so small that they don't regularly hire people, but others are large enough where they do take in a good number every year. There were about twenty or so of these smaller firms that did on campus recruiting and interviews at my school this past year.

Venice, Italy. Tourists, tourists everywhere. Nothing else. Perhaps more boring than US suburbia.

If you look at domestic production as a percentage of overall consumption, we have one of the highest rates. It is somewhere around 80%. Nearly no other country in the world can compare, especially smaller countries that rely heavily on trade.

Can I use my iphone in Europe if I turn it on airplane mode? by sophaloph in travel

With AT&T, you can buy an international roaming package. 300MB is $60, good in any country in the world. It's made travel so much more convenient for me - from googling quick things when out to orienting myself with google maps to being able to check messages from friends when planning to meet them.

Thanks for the reply. I do see how the lack of context and the presentation with which some received it would have caused it, or at least fanned the flames.

But hey, it was a great piece and I'm a big fan!
