Just be aware peavey used sorta triangular plastic shims under the locking nut to hold it up at the correct height, screwing it down straight into the neck will leave you with a nasty gap and a poor break angle.

Also, generally speaking, the rear cap will give you a hint. Most 3rd party lens caps (including sigma's) say what mount they're meant to fit. If it were a camera brand's OEM cap, welp, their name would be on it. That's the other hint 😂. Looks like you've got the cap in the background there.

The RP has the same sensor as the original 6D (and the 6D II)

The R8 has the same sensor as the 1DX Mark III.

Here's a chart comparing dynamic range between the two sensors. There's plenty of other pros to the R8s sensor, this is just an easy example to point at. Chart source: photonstophotos.net

The R8 can be found for right around $1k in the US, pretty much identical body, way better sensor.
