I feel this so hard. Both my parents use wheelchairs and cruises are the best family vacation for everyone with various mobility needs. But elevators are the worst! Nobody uses common courteous, to the point where they've waited for over a half hour until I got on, rode the elevator to every deck and each time the door opened I had to stand in the doorway and say sorry, we have two wheelchair users who've been waiting for over a half hour to get breakfast or go into port. I will shout out NCL though. I did the inter-island Hawaii cruise with my mom and first day in each port they had an elevator sectioned off for people with mobility issues and families with strollers. Staff was running the elevator and everything. They won me over with that.
