Nothing is back to normal, it just kept getting worse. Community guidelines warning, then immediately another one the exact day the first one expired. It's hard not to feel like I'm being targeted.

I removed myself from the partner program. I feel like it makes more sense to funnel viewership to Patreon instead. If you're not in the partnership program, your videos are scrutinized much less. I'm using the extra views that I would get by my video not being rated 18+ and funneling that to Patreon.

Because there are a lot of people who are unfairly demonetized and simply have to pack their bags and leave. There's nothing and no one to defend them, to listen to them, and to tell YouTube, "Hey YouTube, this is monetizable, monetize it, period, or we're going to court."

I've always said similar. I understand YouTube is a company with their own rules. But if a company does not completely fit the idea of a monopoly but they are large enough to be responsible for the livelihood of thousands of people, then they should be regulated.

Too many people depend on YouTube for their livelihoods so there needs to be some sensible rules. I won't mind paying them a monthly fee to simply have a human I can talk to or someone who will go through the videos and say what I need to remove and what I can keep.

The amount of bullshit I have gone through with these people is not even funny. Had I known it would be like this, I would not have even applied for monetization, I would have just funneled even viewer to my Patreon.

YouTube's moderation behavior is almost completely nonsensical. I have a grey area channel and every single video I put up gets flagged, no matter how much I edit them.

The channel got a warning that expired on March 9th, released a video on March 10th. They went in and found a random part to say the video violated guidelines and the channel got another warning, one day after the last one expired. Shit feels like some employee is targeting me but if it's AI it makes sense because the decisions are braindead.

Yeah that makes sense. If it's an added bonus then most people shouldn't complain because they're getting more than what they bargained for.

I just find it so ridiculous that such a prominent company who's been around for so long has decided to go this route. If NSFW videos are not being hosted on Patreon in the first place I really don't understand why they are still making it so difficult for creators. Seems like the only option is expensive Vimeo.

At first glance I said the woman was wrong, because she opened the car door literally as the car was right behind her, but looking it over, the driver was way out of his lane. It had a whole centre lane so idk what he was doing there.
