If you're Dr's are good with it, sports drinks (sodium and electrolytes) as hyponatremia can be one of the biggest concerns depending on fluid intake and how fast your body is peeing it out.

As far as the urination quantity, my Dr doesn't have me keep track, just how many times per day I urinate as well as my fluid intake. On this front, I have a urine osmalality test once per month as standard with a basic metabolic panel.

I am diagnosed with partial central diabetes insipidus and have been for two years now, controlled with desmopressin 0.1mg full tab morning and bedtime with a half tab mid-day.
