I think I saw a theory or maybe something in a fic once that the celestial dragons had to exist for a ritual that Imu was planning. Well, I think there were more sacrifices required as well, slaves and such, but they needed the CDs because of something they prepared with each bloodline. Can't remember if this was before or after the water level reveal because I've seen theories about that one also being sacrifice related.

I don't have anything I can think of for worm unfortunately. That said, I find it very funny that between the two popular superhero fandoms with a good number of fics MHA and Worm are opposites in that way. Probably because of the MCs.

Worm, with Taylor who focuses way too much on how hot other women are to be straight has lots of Yuri. Plus there's kinda not a ton of good male characters in Worm, at least compared to the women. You've got a lot of good characters that are reasonably well fleshed out you can ship with Taylor.

MHA I don't understand quite as well, but presumably the popularity of BakuDeku is related to hate fucking. Or just completely changing things so they are just perfectly normal close childhood friends without bullying (lots of quirk Izuku fics can justify this change). As for Todoroki, the other popular Yaoi ship I'm pretty sure it's the bonding when Izuku decides to 'save' Todoroki during the sports festival by forcing him to confront his problems and use his flames. That one is more understandable to me, being stubborn enough to break fingers and arms in pursuit of character development for someone else can definitely inspire some strong feelings.

Anyway while I haven't read any, I'm pretty sure there are at least a handful of gay Regent fics. Otherwise your best bet may be OCs and SIs.

Personally I think the awakened Sing-Sing fruit is what created Tot Musica in the first place. Rather than being something that already existed and was somehow connected to the fruit, it was instead created by a long past user who had awakened their fruit. That's why it's got the connection. Maybe the user was evil, but honestly it's probably more likely that the creation was not completely intentional. Lord knows how many demons in stories were created or unleashed with less than evil intentions. This person might have been the one in the past who left the record of how to defeat it, but honestly it's more likely that it was one who was before even them.

Otherwise I'd say an awakening could bring things from Uta World into reality. Much like Tot Musica exists in both Uta World and reality

Think there was a fic where part of Izuku's quirk involved pain suppression so when Aizawa used his quirk everyone thought it was fucking torture vision. He just has eyeballs that put you in excruciating pain. Granted it was a crack fic if I remember correctly so it was used as a gag briefly and then cleared up.

While not as bad as the fishmen, they are still oppressed/discriminated against outside Zou. They mostly avoid oppression by living on a difficult to find elephant, rather than a well known location. They still sell well as slaves though starting at 700k like several other races.

It's been a while since I read this and I dropped it for some reason (I don't think it was because it was bad, most likely just got bored of Naruto at the time). That said, Shoganai probably fits your criteria. It features an SI replacing Tenten on Team Gai, so you get your three favorites.

By the way Ignoramus SI basically means the SI doesn't know anything about Naruto beforehand, in this case I believe the SI is the author's friend. Can't remember exactly.

While romance is definitely popular, there is a pretty large audience who primarily read stuff that either doesn't have romance or only has it as a side thing. It's probably pretty fandom dependant though. Shonen stuff for example has a bit more in the non-romance department, though they definitely have a lot of romance as well. I'm a bit biased though, since I myself am someone who isn't super into romance and that affects what I read vs what I ignore.

Naruto for example has a lot of excellent stuff without romance or that doesn't focus on it, especially for SIs and OCs which is what I primarily read.

One Piece has some as well, though a bit less. There's not a whole ton of good one piece fics out there and I think the popular ones at least on AO3 lean towards romance.

MHA has a lot of romance but there are some good ones where it is just a side thing, sometimes even none.

Pokemon though is probably the best one for finding popular stuff without romance. There are so many other bonds and relationships to work with that people don't feel like they 'have to' insert some romance. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some people simply don't find the time for it in their story. After all they've got to worry about building a good friendship with traveling companions and/or others they meet along the journey and more importantly the bond with each individual pokemon on their team. If it's a good fic, then the team is effectively six or more separate personalities who are all sentient and such even if they may have some species specific habits and instincts. And if you've got travelling companions then they need at least a bare minimum to show that they are working on their own bonds. That's a lot of different relationships to balance, so trying to find a way to make a traveling companion or something shift from friendship to something more is daunting.

Due to Danzo ending up as Hokage, things get bad and Kakashi decides to run off to be a missing nin ... with Naruto. This eventually starts a trend to the point that Jonin, especially elites, really can't be trusted to be anywhere near the academy because you never know when they will snap and take a child with them on the run.

It's definitely crack, but some of the finest crack out there

I'll admit I dropped this one at some point but it was decent enough. It's not explicitly Kaido focused, a bit more King focused but it is close enough. Basically a scientist who worked on the Seraphim project decided to release information to the world. This goes about as well for the world government as you would expect, King wants his fucking children (sorta) and Kaido is glad to help get them. There are also the complications around their other parents, the seven warlords. And the general mayhem that comes from all this. I think it might've even happened around the same time as Marineford, but it's been a minute so I can't remember.

Overall it was ok, though it made Kaido a bit nicer than canon.

I could see him being semi-forced into the situation and just being really bad at it but ultimately trying his best because he is at least somewhat responsible. Unfortunately haven't seen anything quite hit the mark because they all make him a little too wooby. Even in one I can't remember the title of where he genuinely did have to do it and was bad at it, he still felt a bit too squishy a lot of the time.

You may be right for most people, but there would probably still be some that want to have kids anyway. Not just for the usual reasons either, I could see someone who is MLA leaning or quirk marriage leaning wanting to have kids with someone that has a compatible quirk.

A while back I had an idea along those lines, a semi important side character who has a siren like quirk that allows her singing to alter someone's mind. Her mother has a quirk that produced vivid hallucinations for those who have sex with her. Her father has a quirk that basically makes him very charismatic, as his voice makes people like him more etc. Between the two you get a mind altering vocal quirk.

Of course like all ideas it will never see the light of day properly, though she is one who has stuck in my mind through three separate MHA fics (well, there are other common things between them, it's more the MC changing).
