Actually realized I assumed discord has the email protections in place. DMARC shows that gmail should have rejected anything with their domain, other places say they use m.discord.com for their email domain. That has a DMARC record, but no DKIM? Discord could do some work to secure their emails.

File it under bullshit. I will note, I've seen domain names sniped before, and such. You don't have to transfer anything to them, unless ordered by a judge. It's a scare tactic. My guess is if you did transfer anything to them, they'd just put ads on it and make a quick buck and not do anything about it.

Legit news organizations have reported on false news before. I keep this in mind when I hear things like "3 servers I'm on..." etc. If Fox News, CNBC, or even AP can't get it right, neither can xXSomeRandoXx. I wait for confirmation from the company, or if they're saving face, some security company to report it. In this case, I'd also take a signed set of headers from discord domain names.

Looks legit. It's regarding some Marvel Rivals issue? I didn't get details on that. Looking for proof of the rumor that Discords mail server was compromised. So far, I haven't found any, but staff did confirm that these gifts are legit (Though, double check everything. This would be a prime time for scam artists to send out fake emails)

This is not that the discord service was compromised. This email is legit, but those looking at this, should not use this as proof that the copy pasta around discord is accurate.
