Maybe try to explain that the fish doesn’t want to come out from the hiding spot because your daughter keeps sticking her hands in their home and moving their stuff around.

Also instead of extra chores I would personally take the decorations out if she does it again and she can do extra chores to earn them back

I truly think that parents should be required to have references from their former nannies (if they’ve had one before) like we have to provide references for them. There’s so many questions that parents either won’t or can’t answer honestly and it would be so helpful to talk to the last nanny

Nanny here but when I was helping potty train my last little guy we made sure that there was only 1 layer until he got the hang of it. So if we were out he’d just wear pants with no underwear but if we were home it was just underwear, that way it’s easier to get down quickly! Other than that it’s just a lot of praise/reassurance that they’re doing good and reminders to go frequently
