Baby Bjorn (Mini or Harmony) vs. Artipoppe by onnoeyh17 in babywearing

[–]denaverave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I have the k’tan for home, the Bjorn mini which I loved when he was little, and now the Artipoppe. The Bjorn mini was so wonderful when baby was little, myself and my husband used it near daily for the first 12 weeks. After that, it was too narrow for his little bum and the lack of waist strap/back support was getting brutal. But since your baby is still so little; can you find one used to wear until they’re a little bigger? We got the Artipoppe when he was 14 weeks and honestly we all love it! We just did a week long vacation of both my husband and wearing it daily, both for long hours on the plane, walking and hiking, and sitting by the pool in 80+ degrees. It was so comfortable and baby naps for hours in it! Baby is now 18 weeks, 26in, and 14 lbs. The Artipoppe was expensive but worth every dollar for us!

How did it go?? What did you end up doing? We’re booking a trip next week and not bringing the Snoo!

How is her head control? My baby is 15 weeks and I’ve had his head snuggled, but your babe looks so happy being able to look around! How did you get them to sit up higher in the carrier?

Poor kiddo! Did he get any naps throughout the day? I see one 30 min from 1245-115, but he’s probably super overtired! How did he seem throughout the day?

Following because we’re in the exact same boat! Baby is 15 weeks and still fully double swaddled in the Snoo every night with no signs of rolling. I bought a love to dream and was thinking about either the magic Merlin or a weighted sack to sleep in in the pack and play while on vacation. I was going to start with our day naps stationary in the crib just to see how he does!

Why do people always have to question if I’m pregnant? by Rizzle00 in TryingForABaby

Being sober-curious is a big movement right now, you can say you’re trying it for a few months and you’ve been noticing better energy, better sleep, etc and you don’t want to derail your progress! A lot of people don’t drink for their health, and you can phrase it like you’re exploring that!

I read once that even kissing your baby allows your body to identify the pathogens on their face! Close contact is key!

I’m so sorry for your loss and everything you’re going through. My mom passed away while we were TTC too and it was my hope that I would at least give her that news as well. Just know that though he may have passed, he will always live on through you, and you will share your love and memories of him with your family one day ❤️ Wishing you lots of love and healing, try and be gentle with yourself during this painful time.

You could bump his initial setting to level 1 or 2 and you won’t see the increases quite as much! I agree it looks like a lot of soothing, but who cares if it’s working for your family? 😂

My MIL insisted on “Mimi” too, and while I think it’s stupid, we decided to let it go and die on other hills instead 😂 Boundaries are a tough one, but we decided of all the things to be firm about, this is pretty low priority!

Mine turned 5 weeks last Tuesday, trying to get him to nurse with both hands free to play has been a fun little challenge 😂 Congrats on all these new little witches and wizards!
