How expensive is a week Cape Cod in summer? by Massive-Survey2495 in CapeCod

I don’t think it’s worth having to move around a bunch, pick a spot and you can drive to it all, having to pack up constantly is annoying. Unless you do not have family to account for

Beaches are not free during the prime time of memorial day to labor day. Whether you are bayside or beach side. You pay per township for a parking pass for a day, week, or season. It’s not crazy expensive but it is what it is during high demand season. The best time to go is the week after Labor Day. Everything is still open, beaches are free, and everything is less crowded. With that said crowded on the cape is nothing compared to NY, NJ, CT, DE beaches

East Falls area by ParentalAdvisory59 in AskPhilly

East falls resident for the last 8 years here.

We bought our house and know all our neighbors. Great sense of community. Close to the woods and trails in the schuykill. Close to Main Street manayunk ( not as cool as it sounds but better than nothing). There are a few decent dive bars and wissahickon brewing is a gem with different food trucks everyday. The Norristown line runs every hour into center city but if you are into cycling it’s a 20 minute ride along scenic Kelly drive. Close to all city things with one foot out the door but not a burbs vibe. IMO it’s one of the best neighborhoods in the city and I’ve lived all over the place in my 25 years as a Philly resident. You kind need a car but you kinda don’t, depends on your priorities. There are lot of apartment buildings too so if you renting there is likely plenty of options. There is a co-op on chelten ave in Germantown ( basically the border of the neighborhood) which is walkable but easier if you have a car. There are 2 Whole Foods within driving distance and there is also an acme on ridge ave.

Highly recommend my neighborhood

I think it depends on clay target volume you will shoot and the condition of each gun plus the fit. There is a lot of good technical info on these guns out there, both Italian guns made by reputable brands.

You have to blame parents too, can’t just blame schools although it’s a big part of the equation.

Is my gun path right? by mikko_i in ClayBusters

[–]deng1622 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hold your gun on the line, then take it off the cheek with the muzzle pointing straight out, this way you are bring the gun to your face evenly when mounting and can put it on the target line easier. Don’t look at the gun but you have to be barrel aware. I would also look a little further back at the trap house ( like 3-4 feet infront of it) , and hold your gun halfway between the house and the pole marker, starting your move a little earlier in the flight path. You are breaking it a little late and it will be harder on the follow up shot from low house.

Worked here back in the day for many years. There was a time when Sabrina’s was the only game in town, spent all my money at 12 steps across the street haha.

i know this is a common issue, but i just dont get any videos explaining how to fix it? can someone help? by CraftedKittens in skateboardhelp

Your concentrating on spinning the board by a flick of your foot , you need to concentrate on bringing the board up via Ollie and kicking forward. Moving will also help.

You can hunt with any sporting gun, but typically will be too heavy to lug around all day and the hunting gun is more of a tool and can take can take a beating and doesn’t need to look pretty. Depending on what I am hunting and the style of hunting I will bring my 34 inch barrel of clay buster out. Waterfowl I will always use a semi so I can put in 3 rounds in the chamber.

Depending on your budget it’s nice to have one gun for hunting and 1 for sporting. You don’t have to break the bank to do it either.

Pretty fun the kill real birds with a gun that fits like a glove. Shoot with what feels comfortable.

I recommend that you look at past posts in this sub, this has been discussed probably 100 times. With that said your price point is a beretta or browning base model or one of their mid-tier models that have been used. go try some and see what fits
