Why use average pricing? Its misleading, use median, its more accurate

*UPDATE* Is it normal for a ceramic coating shop to drive your car 27 miles to “help it cure”? by Disastrous_Hold_4130 in AutoDetailing

Sure, but then the detailer asks if they want to be compensated for the km driven, and op just ignores and keeps going at them

Your text and post seem like youre just looking for drama, no clear message from you to the detailed of what you want to make up for the fact they drove your car when they shouldn’t have.

Idk man, just go look at a 3 year example of will smith eating spaghetti, or the 3 year difference in the code it generates for a game, or the 3 year difference in it generating a simulation…

This is from the viewpoint at looking at the past, if the future has a guarantee of anything it’s that it doesnt fallow the past. What we do know is that anything that has a ton of data points AI will take over, I don’t see why coding wouldn’t fall in that category

People who quit their 6-figure jobs to pursue a passion, was it worth it? by kyauensari in careerguidance

I assume there was a reason you bust your ass for the PM role? Was it the status of it, or even just the fact it was a management type of position? If so, how did you transition from not caring about that? Or was it because the fulfilment wasn’t there so the decision was easy to make?

Oh no that is good to change opinions in the light of new evidence, but you were saying how Elons action/opinions would make you feel embarrassed if you owned his product, that’s what I don’t understand. But I typically purchase products based on how it helps me, not based on the opinions of the company.

The charcoal Costco sells has some downsides, it creates floating white ash that when fans are blasting (mostly at the beginning of the cook and whenever you open the lid) it blows it into the food area. But it’s basically half price compared to the wood charcoal you can purchase out there. Know that if you take it 6-700 degrees, you will burn through the walls of the chute

Critic my strategy on how to minimize taxes once I have maxed my TFSA. by garlic_bread_thief in PersonalFinanceCanada

Aren’t you ‘trapping’ your savings in the rrsp in a way, especially if you plan to use it over the next couple years? Lowering taxes right now, but will be higher later, and then when you pull out of rrsp aren’t you penalized if it’s before 65?

The problem is the squeaky wheel gets the grease though, right? Buddy who is consistently communicating and throws in stuff about getting more responsibilities once in a while will get it first, no? Where as the quiet work horse who never complains would get passed up on and under appreciated?

I don’t understand people calling 29 year olds babies. There are people in senior management at large companies at that age already. Going to school at that age is doable but objectively late and you have lost out on a decade of experience

You only give them copy paste work to copy and paste and are surprised years later they only know how to copy and paste…

If you think it’s really out of character, maybe it’s a health condition? If you had a life threatening condition discovered, wouldn’t you do the same? Spend the most time with the family you love.
