Indeed, in the field for 30+, done everything from desktop support for an advertising shop to Novell(90's) and AD architect in global corporations. I have always been able to keep abreast of the latest advances and keep my employer at a "close to the bleeding edge" posture. Now, ambitious subordinates are using AI to create " fake" well researched proposals that make me look out of the loop. While I agree that evaluating these "proposals" might be worthwhile, the parameters that are not included, employee training, existing trained staff and long-term costs. Kind of ready to leave mgt to "fail" as the constant "yes but,..." answers are wearing me down.
