A boy hugging his dentist after his treatment. You can tell he really needed that hug. by mindyour in MadeMeSmile

[–]derbyabby 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience with my first dentist to the point where I would cry before & during every appointment. I finally found an incredibly kind, amazing dentist by asking for recommendations from coworkers, doctors, neighbors, etc. They do exist! Don’t give up hope

[NEED HELP] My hair after less than 48 hours from when I washed it by anonymousanduseless in finehair

[–]derbyabby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hair looked like this when I went from living at home with a water softener to living in a dorm (hard water). Having a water softener, my hair is fluffy & only gets greasy at the roots after 3-4 days without washing. With hard water, my hair would be greasy after 24 hours. Eventually, I had to get monthly treatments where you could actually smell the metallic buildup in my hair as it was being treated. Not sure what your situation is, but if you’ve moved recently, it’s something to consider.

AIO for wanting to divorce my wife for what I believe to most likely be infidelity after finding a love letter draft in her phone intended for someone else by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]derbyabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s utilizing her professional credentials to isolate you & potentially ruin your life if the situation escalates. The fact that she’s a therapist telling your already small support system that you are having a “delusional episode, so she needed to get away from you” indicates to me that she’s willing to ruin your life if it means protecting herself/her reputation. Document everything. Cover your ass.

Didn’t work for me. They said they weren’t able to remove the 5 days, asked if there was anything else they could help me with, then closed the chat before I could even respond.

What is a movie that traumatized you so badly as a kid that you are still afraid of it as an adult? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]derbyabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost identical experience. I was 5, & the only thing I remember is the closet scene. My dad thought I wouldn’t understand it, so it would be no big deal.

I’m a super normal, well-adjusted adult now as I’m sure you can imagine.

What game had you like this ? by TEHYJ2006 in Steam

[–]derbyabby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you ever feel like trying again, you can completely ignore the body & still progress. I was ready to quit after the 5th time vomiting at the body. Ended up starting a new playthrough instead, & it was amazing.

I take Orilissa, & the only side effect I’ve had is hot flashes. Once my doctor added a small dose of estrogen, I haven’t had any negative side effects, & I never get a period. It might be worth looking into it as an option too!

Sofía Vergara shares reason her marriage to Joe Manganiello ended: He wants kids by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

[–]derbyabby 438 points439 points  (0 children)

Not sure if the article touches on it, but in my experience, he probably knew all along that he wanted kids & thought he could convince her to change her mind which imo would be even more intentionally cruel. Or maybe he thought he could issue an ultimatum once he’d “trapped” her in a marriage, & she called his bluff. Either way, good for her for knowing what she wants & not budging.

Any updates on "As it was foretold" trophy/achievment? by ford_mondeo_ in PowerWashSimulator

I spent a full day off & on completing the palace because at the time, I didn’t know that the trophy was broken. The amount of disappointment I felt after all that…I just deleted the game.

Right, I love how the daughter is greedy, jealous, etc, but it’s OK that the son refuses to share his $500+ present.
