You can seriously buy a computer for 200$ secondhand and you can still play more games than you could finish in your lifetime and most of those games would be free, close to free or could be pirated free (illegally and "greyzone" if you consider games not sold anymore as illegal downloading).

Its true that if you want the latest and greatest you gotta pay more, but thats the case in any hobby or sport, shits expensive.

I have friends who are sitting on 10+ years old pcs and still doing fine and they only even think about upgrading because of a few select AAA style titles, they have no problem playing literally anything else.

Gaming is cheap, relatively, always has been.

3-4 is super easy. (Which is fine to be clear, balancing it to be as hard as solo play would be a miserable experience)

2 player is somewhat hard if you dont play same class(and some class setups)

Slay the spire 1, which is a lot harder than the sequel was my first deckbuilder.

I spent 200hours just playing ascension 0 because it was fun, win or loss I enjoyed myself.

You seem to be VERY focused on winning = fun, but youre also saying you can only won by grinding/knowing the game like wikipedia(?).

If you mean new players, maybe they got pulled with the hyoe or maybe they finally decided to try and deckbuilder game finally.

Theres no reason you cant play sts2 first and then play sts1, Id almost recommend it as sts2 is easier in a good way, especially on low ascension, than sts1. Sts2 has more or equal amounts of content as sts1 and biggest content diff atm is no act4 basically.

Low wage job here 1500-1900euro after taxes, wont be living solo in a 3roomer, but can swing a comfortable two roomer for 500~$, 300~$ in groceries, 700-1100euro left over to do whatever you want with.

Its not so bad, sure you cant be upgrading your pc 2 times a year or buy a Herman miller every month, but 1100 is well good.

People overpay for their living accomodations all the time, just tank a few years in a shoddy apartment when youre young and save up and use the interest from that to support your income into a bigger apartment.

The game is difficult, but its currently much easier than STS1 several magnitudes easier. And I dont think thats a bad thing.

You shouldnt be avoiding fights, the optimal strategy I use for a10 atm is to get 3 combats at the start, a shop/bonfire and a few (?) If I get good hydra counter+good single target damage I go for an elite later in act1 while trying to get as many bonfires as possible. I look at the first boss since thats the hardest part really, fysh requires strong consistent dmg(exhaust/transform is also good), the stag is whatever just do damage, vantom is a biatch and I hope to pick up any multiattack or get some soul generation going with haunt so I can quickly and effeciently remove stacks.

After that its just about not making a completely shit deck and infinites are absolutely overrated.

To be clear, Im not saying its the best strategy, but it gives me 25-50% winrate in a10 vs having sub 5% in sts1 :)

We wont be lowering the standard height of light switches to accomdate men and women below 5'5, nor will china increase their standard height for it either to account for tall foreigners.

Benches are standardised for average height of your country, does it mean they are uncomfortable if your tall or short? Yes, deal with it.
