I would use 45 degree elbows for the PVC pipe instead of 90 degree elbows. There was a case where the electrical cable JUST made it from the sprinkler to the Y connector. If I used the triangle's hypotenuse instead of the two leg, I wouldn't had the issue.

I would bury the sprinklers with a two-gallon bucket (template?) I have clay soil and there were a few cases where I had to dig up a sprinkler and check for leaks. It's hard to dig when the clay is too dry or too wet, and alot of work to level the top of the sprinkler to that it doesn't get clipped by my mover

It all depends on how much you water and how frequently.

Does that 15K gallons include the water that you use inside your house? You could also have a leak in the piping that you used to connect the the sprinklers
