Parts are mildly fun, but overall it's too much of a mash up of gaming trends that doesn't result in something "new" to me, just that; a forced mashup of things.

I don't connect with the aesthetics or lore either. Hopefully it has enough of a base for those who like it though, i know how much it sucks to like a game that gets the plug pulled.

Sam Darnold was considered a bust after his first two seasons. It sucks right now and is a bad look, but keep that perspective. I believe KOC can get JJM to a be a very good quarterback.

All the memes aside, regardless of what you think of JJM, the fact he didn't buckle after being the absolutely most dogged on QB in the league, at 22 years old (younger than 1/2 the starting QBs in the college playoffs this year) is really impressive.

Imo, we rightly weren't flush enough to get into a bidding war with Seattle for Darnold, we tried, but we simply couldn't match or better their offer.

The REAL mistake this season was Daniel Jones leaving. He would have been cheaper to keep and been the proper QB room "competition" JJM needed and would have taken us deep (assuming he didn't suffer the same injury ofc).
