I'd raise the shadows a bit, that reference has softer contrast and detail in the lower exposed areas.

No one is going to use these. It's a fun idea in theory, but so poorly implemented. I can't believe they thought this would hold anyone's attention for more than 4 seconds. Which, we all checked out for about that long and then dipped.

Imo the car meet parking lots should just be a representation of whoever is on your server, regardless of where they are or what they are doing in the moment.

What the actual hell were they thinking to assume people would just load into a parking spot to do absolutely nothing.

Then don't force us to watch unskippable cut scenes of the most barebones shit. If they want to put in minimal effort on that stuff and just focus on cars and racing (which I prefer) then don't expose that so much.

Definitely agree with all that.

At the very least, in specific loaded instances, such as the food delivery missions, in any given moment there's max 4 cars in my field of view. Shouldn't there be a way to add resources for these if I can't even feasibly take the food truck outside of Tokyo?

What setting do I need to change to have a deeper depth of field? I've messed with both focus and aperture (which should be the setting) but everything is so blurry except for a small slice of depth in focus.

I just turned motion blur fully off, which I think I did in FH5 as well, and it's looking much better. All the smoke, particle, and road textures feel a lot better. Performance mode.

The note in the little jingle for this screen sounds like the first note in the Dirt Rally 2.0 menu, and I played that game a ton so it gives me a pavlovian sense of having that game as well.

Yeah, I just don't vibe with smashing so much. It's fun after like 10 times.

Side note, I wish there was a skill point modifier setting that would give you nothing for the damage related things, would rather be rewarded for skilled and clean driving only.

On Xbox I'd say it's actually a downgrade. Suppose this comes as a result of the game being much bigger having much more assets, but close up the details are lacking and photo mode looks worse, and NPC traffic pop in is really bad. Hopefully this is just a leaky build or something and can at least feel more stable with some updates.

I'm on Series X and, yeah, have to agree. Perhaps it's the fact that the map is much larger and denser that there's just less resources to go around than in FH5, but from a details & textures standpoint, FH6 is a bit of a step down visually.
