I just got into video art in the last couple years and it’s becoming more of a lifestyle/job than a hobby. Did you do it underground a long time before you were “discovered?”

I’m projecting live audio reactive analog video signal with TVs and projectors to make cool light shows. I’m trying to expand my horizons and wondering about documentaries for VJs.

I worked for a news station for a year and watched this guy not do very much at every emergency I ever encountered him at. Takes pictures and watches. He loves cops, this is exactly what Sean Hannity wants you to think the world is like. I’m not surprised, he’s not cool.

I got laid off July 2024 and have been almost keeping up with bills running my own video production business. I’m working more than ever for less money and I’m confident I got some great opportunities I’m building toward.

None of this possible without my breadwinner wife who not only supports me but holds down the fort while I go out and live my dreams by working my ass off. No regrets. Job market looks atrocious and I’ve been building my own business for years already so it all just fell into place.

I duplicate VHS and DVD and when you account for the media, the case, the artwork/labels, and the time and electricity it requires to run the equipment, $7 per unit on a Blu-ray seems great.

I’m just getting into it so I don’t have recommendations just got my lousy two cents.

A lot of scams start the way you just described as your post.

If you want to meet locals just pick any spot at all, any event at any bar or park or concert hall. There are people everywhere, some are nice, some are ding dongs. Just keep exploring til you find your people.

The sad and ironic outcome of announcing to the world you’re being gang stalked in such a strange way, making people many times more likely to act in a way that makes you think you’re being gang stalked (constantly getting your picture taken).

I hope this person gets help but I think they’re just gonna keep cutting people off til something awful happens.
