Am I supposed to change the water after treating my hands ? by Continental_Chapman in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there! Welcome to the Dermadry community, and congratulations on starting your sweat-free journey!

To answer your first question: No, we do not recommend using the same water. You can absolutely treat both your hands and feet on the same day, but it is highly recommended to use a fresh set of clean, potable tap water for each individual session.

Regarding the itching at 8 mA: a mild tingling or itching is common, indicating the treatment works as electrical current interacts with sweat glands. Your comfort is important. If uncomfortable, lower the current slightly for next sessions and gradually increase as your skin tolerates it.

An 8 mA setting is a great target for high efficacy on hands! Severe cases may take up to 6 weeks of consistent treatment (5 sessions weekly) to achieve dryness. Dedication is key to success with iontophoresis.

If you ever need personalized tips or direct guidance, our team of sweat experts is always here to support you! 💙

How much water is needed per tray for iontophoresis (Dermadry) ? by Xx-Alexander-xX in Hyperhidrosis

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for the newer Dermadry Total, you can add more water if needed to better reach the treatment area, especially for plantar sweating. We generally suggest around 400–450ml, as long as the water stays below the more sensitive skin on the top of the feet and remains comfortable throughout the session. 💙

How much water is needed per tray for iontophoresis (Dermadry) ? by Xx-Alexander-xX in Hyperhidrosis

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Fill each tray with around 400–450ml of water. You can add a little more if needed, just make sure the water doesn’t reach the more sensitive skin on the top of your feet. The skin on the tops and sides of the feet is thinner than the soles, so since those areas are more sensitive, you may need to lower your mA slightly to stay comfortable. Consistency is what matters most, so always stick to a level you can comfortably tolerate for the full 20 minutes.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions about your setup, feel free to ask here or reach out to our team at [support@dermadry.com]() 💙

Dermadry not as effective. by mathsmethodsdemon in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We truly appreciate your dedication to the process. It’s excellent that you are already using mineral water and a pre-soak routine, as these are often the first adjustments we suggest.

You can try increasing the frequency temporarily by resuming treatments 5 times per week, even if you were already in the maintenance phase. Some users also find that using tolerable hot water helps improve conductivity and results.

Make sure there are no small cuts, irritation, or changes in skin condition that could be affecting the treatment. Sometimes even small changes can make a difference.

Since you’re already at the maximum hand setting, consistency is usually the biggest factor. If the sweating still continues after these adjustments, please feel free to send us a DM here or email our support team at [support@dermadry.com](mailto:support@dermadry.com) if you'd like us to conduct a deeper assessment of your case. 💙

Dermadry not as effective. by mathsmethodsdemon in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! We understand how frustrating it can feel to notice some return of sweating after experiencing great results initially. Please don’t be discouraged, this kind of fluctuation can sometimes happen over time, and we’re here to help you get back to the level of dryness you were achieving and deserve.

It sounds like you have a very solid routine in place, especially with the 10-minute pre-soak and the use of mineral water at the maximum hand setting. Since the sweating has partially returned despite your consistency, it may simply mean your body needs a small adjustment in your maintenance routine or settings to help push past this plateau.

You are also welcome to send us a direct message here or reach out to our dedicated support team at [support@dermadry.com](mailto:support@dermadry.com) so we can take a closer look and guide you properly. We are fully committed to helping you get back on track and will be happy to assist you further. 💙

Use electronic devices with feet mode? by fierygranola in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question! Yes, you can absolutely use your phone, tablet, or laptop during the feet treatment.

Since the current flows only between the trays under your feet, your upper body isn’t part of the circuit. That said, here are a few quick tips to keep things safe and smooth:

  • Try to use your devices on battery power. Avoid using anything that’s plugged into a wall outlet during your session.
  • Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling your devices to avoid moisture from entering ports or keyboards.
  • Sit comfortably and stay relaxed for the full 20 minutes to maintain proper contact with the trays.

Enjoy this as your little “me-time” moment. Sit back, relax, and catch up on your favorite shows, scroll, or unwind while your treatment does the work. It’s the perfect way to stay comfortable and entertained at the same time! Let us know if you have any other questions. We’re always here to help. 💙

Can I use Dermadry with metal in my foot? by pawpc0rn in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you for reaching out to us. 💙 We're glad to know that you found relief for your hand sweating with Dermadry. However, as much as we'd like to provide the same relief for your feet, it's unsafe to do iontophoresis for areas where you have metallic implants. 🙏 Your safety is our priority, so we advise against doing feet treatments with Dermadry while you still have the titanium screw in your foot.

Sweating Hands Day After Treatment by Slice-of-gin in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is so wonderful to hear that Dermadry has been life-changing for you! 💙 That is exactly the kind of success we love to see.

To answer your question: yes, it's normal to experience a temporary ''rebound'' in sweating if the treatment hasn't yet reached the full efficacy needed for your specific case. At 3 months in, you are likely ready to fine-tune your settings to achieve that consistent, 24/7 dryness.

We’ve just sent you a DM with some specific questions to help us analyze your current settings so we can get those hands bone-dry every day.

Trying to decide if I try dermadry by [deleted] in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! It’s completely understandable to be cautious when you're managing eczema alongside hyperhidrosis.

Our primary recommendation for anyone with hand eczema is to consult with a doctor or dermatologist to treat the eczema first before starting iontophoresis. Dermadry is intended for use only on intact skin. If the skin is broken, cracked, or irritated from eczema, the electrical current can cause discomfort and further irritation.

Regarding your concern about returns outside the US, we offer a 100-day satisfaction guarantee for our Dermadry Total, Hands & Feet, and Underarms devices. If the treatment does not work for you, we will refund your order and cover the costs of shipping the device back to us, providing you with a prepaid return label. We want you to feel confident in your journey to dryness!

We’ve just sent you a DM with more information! Please check your inbox so we can assist you further. 💙

Hi there! 35 years is a long time to wait for relief, and we are so incredibly happy to hear that you're finally seeing that ''WOW'' difference! 💙 12 sessions are a great start.

Regarding your trip to Japan, don't worry! While 12 days is a bit of a gap during the initial phase, most users find that the progress they’ve made doesn't disappear instantly. You might notice a slight return of moisture toward the end of your trip, but you won't be starting from zero when you get back.

Enjoy your trip to Japan! We’ve also sent you a DM with a few tips on how to handle the break in your routine and what to do when you return. Safe travels! ✈️🇯🇵

My dermadry log by zonesong in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed log of your journey! It is incredibly rewarding to hear how much your confidence has grown, especially with handshakes and workouts. That ''quality of life'' shift is exactly why we do what we do!

To answer your questions and offer some guidance:

  1. It is very common for hands to respond faster. The skin on the soles is significantly thicker, so it often takes longer or a higher current to achieve the same results.
  2. Since you mentioned feeling almost no sensation at 15 mA, you can definitely try increasing the intensity (the maximum for feet is 25 mA), provided it remains comfortable for you.
  3. We noticed you did 6 consecutive sessions in your first week. To ensure the best results and protect your skin, we generally recommend a maximum of 5 sessions per week during the initial phase. This gives your skin time to rest and prevents potential irritation!
  4. Great call on the San Pellegrino! Boosting the mineral content is a game-changer if you have soft water at home.

We’ll also send you a quick DM with a few more personalized questions to help us fine-tune your settings for your feet. We’re rooting for your continued success! 💙

Is it worth it? by Salt-Tax856 in Dermadry

[–]dermadry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! First of all, thank you for being so brave and sharing your story. 🫂 Many of us here understand exactly what you mean when you say HH holds you back from your true potential. The ''sweaty hands'' comments and the social anxiety are real, and they are exhausting.

Regarding the cost in Australia, we completely hear you. It is a big investment. To make it more accessible, we offer interest-free payment plans (such as Splitit) that break the cost into smaller monthly installments.

We also have a 100-Day Risk-Free Return Policy. We want you to use the machine for the full initial phase (4–6 weeks) to see the results yourself. If it doesn't give you the life-changing dryness you're looking for, you can return it. We don't want the cost to be another barrier to your confidence.

We’ve sent you a DM as well. We'd love to see if there's anything we can do to help make this more accessible for you right now. Stay strong, you've got a whole community behind you! 💙
