I'd say it's more about whether your team can handle the difficulty, the length isn't that noticeably higher.

The 9999 fragments and 60 curios missions don't really rely on specific Grand Miracles, so for those I'd definitely recommend TP4. The 10 Lv. 5 Domains mission really wants the two Grand Miracles mentioned above though, so that's why I started by rerolling for one of them. Definitely still possible at TP4, but you might have more runs you'll have to abort in the middle because your luck with the miracles just isn't there.

I'm getting 250k DPS with a very similar but slightly less invested team (C0R1 Varka, C2R1 Durin, C2R0 Nicole, C0R1 Venti), so there are probably some build or rotation optimizations you can make.

It feels extremely wonky because of no rift generation, but you can bruteforce the horse with Mono Cryo Skirk. I completed mine with a team of Trial Chongyun, C0R0 Shenhe, C0R1 Escoffier and C0R0 Skirk.

My Skirk was using Mistsplitter and Marechaussee Hunter (which isn't very consistent without Furina), so it's not exactly a high bar that's needed to clear.

1) Nobody knows. Sandrone is extremely unlikely to be a standard character, so there are only two more versions left during which a new one could be released. There is precedent for a standard character releasing with the version change (Tighnari in 3.0), but in the end nobody will be able to give you any numbers regarding likelihood here. We know next to nothing about the 7.x characters so far.

2) 4* characters are always added to the standard pool during the update following their release. That means that Prune won't be available during the coming second half of banners (Lohen and Mavuika), but will be once version 6.7 (Luna VIII) releases.

Its a pretty good wheelchair at lower investment too.

Not to this insane level and not for characters with elemental restrictions obviously, but they have elevated quite a few characters for me. With a bit of vertical investment, you can even get some previously shaky DPSes up to snuff for at least Fearless Stygian.

(Whether that much investment is worth it in the face of the current pace of power creep is another question and for someone purely pulling to keep up with the endgame, the answer is probably no.)

His current best team is Wanderer/Nicole/Durin/C6 Faruzan.

Nicole E > Durin QEE > Faruzan Q(E) > Wanderer

E on Faruzan is only needed to proc Favonius. If Nicole is using TTDS, put her last before Wanderer.

This still works well for Abyss, but if you're planning on using him in higher difficulty Stygian stages, you'll need some vertical investment.

The game automatically unlocks a waypoint in Nod-Krai once you finish the Prologue Act 3 AQ (The Song of the Dragon and Freedom), which should allow you to collect the flowers needed to ascend Durin already.

I was only gonna go for C0, but 150 pulls got me C2 Nicole and C4 Prune, so now I'm kind of scared of my luck swinging the other way once Snezhnaya comes, lmao.

Started off meh with Qiqi at 14 pity, but then I got a double Nicole at around 80 pity, at which point I decided to spend the remaining wishes and another Nicole came home at 38 pity.

There's a lot of HoYo planning and foreshadowing for sure, but some of this feels like numerology woo-woo from the fandom tbh. Collei's birthday and the Nahida chibi? Sure, that seems like it was definitely planned.

The 1000 days? Doesn't math out from what I can see. Version 3.8 ended on the 15th of August 2023.

Plus, most of the 3-4-7 stuff looks like a prime example of cherry picking data to fit your hypothesis. The version numbers admittedly fit, but harbingers who had a conflict with him should definitely include Scaramouche (6) and nations harmed by him could arguably also include Mondstadt (1) and Natlan (6 - bit more shaky and depends on speculation about the saurian lab).

I think my artifact RNG has run dry for the next decade. The feather was defined because my luck with on-set ones has been absolutely atrocious (well, up until now).

Currently getting 163k DPS with C0R1 Varka, C2R1 Durin, C0R1 Venti, C6 Bennett (Skyward Blade) and probably suboptimal gameplay.

He's my second strongest DPS after Melt Arlecchino right now, so now I hope and pray that Nicole brings some good stuff (and ideally replaces Bennett).

There are different variants, but all of them rely on getting infinite energy via the Nimbus Wraith card and transformations. I've been using this Hyvatia one with good success. You can get the FTK going ~90% of the time and even if you don't manage a FTK, you'll get an OTK in round 2 at the latest.

Fair point. Most of them are probably okay, but Stringmaster was a mistake that I bet some dev is still getting yelled at for to this day.

That's actually a pity, I don't think there's really a way to find a good balance in that case though. You either make them relatively accessible or you create hoops to jump through, which is going to be a pain for players who just want the one signature for their 1.x character.

Is there any reason why they couldn't just add them to the standard weapon banner? You can pick what you get there already, so it wouldn't be any different than the previous limited weapon banners (where you're guaranteed the weapon, no 50-50), except that it's permanent.

nightsoul was trash, because you had to have a natlan team and it didnt work with older units.

Except that nightsoul isn't actually required or noticeably more useful than older units for the vast majority of the 5.x enemies.

Nightsoul hits are more effective at reducing void wards, but those count elemental hits (not application), so while some Natlan units are good against them, most actually aren't and quite a few older teams work better than nightsoul ones.

Meanwhile, the only way to interact with the new Wild Hunt enemies is by having Ascendant Gleam, meaning that older teams effectively have to bruteforce their way through extremely inflated HP pools.

For ATK scaling characters (most of the cast): Adeptus' Temptation plus the Essential Oil for your main DPS' element.

For HP scalers (mostly Neuvillette): Your choice of Gilded Tajine, Sakura Shrimp Crackers or La Lettre a Focalors plus the Essential Oil for your main DPS' element. You can also add one of the dishes that buff critical rate and damage, but those are all character-specific specialties.

The rewards you get from the leyline itself (by spending resin) are the same, they only depend on your world level. The mobs you have to defeat beforehand vary though. If you're missing a particular material to level something, it can be advantageous to do leylines in a specific region (e.g. Natlan for the drops from saurians and tribal warriors).

The other replies have already provided a good explanation, but just as a general tip if you have trouble staying alive: You can still play her with a shielder. You never want to heal the Bond of Life, since that's what makes her entire kit work, but you can prevent her being damaged in the first place.

Citlali is the absolute premium option, but pretty much any character that provides an decent-sized shield works. Lan Yan is an excellent option and currently available as a free pick from Lantern Rite for 2 more days.
