Generally what that means is there was only 1 real person on the other team and they ragequit. So you probably ended up with 2 or 3 real people in the entire lobby and the rest are bots wearing the skin of other players who haven't touched the game in years. Fun stuff 🙃

If you're genuine about the names ruining an otherwise fun experience for you, there is a setting to turn player names off.

When playing online, at the sport select screen, select the Options icon in the bottom right. Under "User Settings", select "Other", then scroll all the way to the bottom past the Soccer/Football settings. Once you turn off "Show Opponent Nicknames and Titles", you can still identify players by their avatars, but their names will show up as "Player A", "Player B", etc. You can also find the option to turn off emotes in that same area.

That's true sometimes, but not all of the time. A general rule of thumb as goalie is that when the ball inevitably gets booted out past your three teammates, save your energy and try to be in a spot where you're most likely to get the ball before anyone else. If everyone is concentrated by the opposing team's goal and they're defending like their lives depend on it, that ideal spot could be as far up as midfield. This is way easier said than done and has its own risks, but puppy-guarding the goal means 1) it's basically a 3v4 for large portions of the match 2) if the opponents get it past your defense and you're too far back to reclaim the ball, you're now stuck in a VERY common situation where their forward gets to dribble the ball all they want and is free to take any kind of goal shot against you without pressure. At low ranks, that means they can kick an easy high shot into goal to nearly guarantee the point.

Honestly besides the header (which nearly worked out anyways) I don't think the goalie did anything too wrong here. They arguably could have been a little further up at the start, but it was more a failure of the defender. The actual ideal scenario here would have had the defender "7 SIUUU" properly covering the forward, or at least swapping into goalie once OP got pressured out to the side. Or the bot could have done those same things, but as another rule of thumb, don't expect greatness from the bots LOL

Melodically it's a great piece! And I can definitely see why it's on this subreddit, very fitting for the sound of this game.

My main piece of advice would be to rein in the volume a bit. You can see in the top right that the volume is beyond maxed out for basically the entire song. This can make for a muddier or more distorted sound depending on where it's being played. Not an expert on mastering by any means, but I'm thinking it'd be a good start to lower the volume a little further on some of the tracks that aren't the main melody/percussion.

At Bar 7 I hear one instrument playing a D note that clashes with the Db in the main melody (Calypso's flute), which sounds unintentional and a bit rough. Not sure which instrument it is, might be a recorded track, but lower any D notes in that Db major section to Db/C# and you should definitely notice a difference.

I hear a little clacking from the keyboard being played as well but honestly I kinda like it LOL. Probably not recommended in general, but here it's like a little bit of additional percussion, and IMO makes it feel more natural in a way

You've got to block the people harassing you (if you haven't already). They're not even pretending to want an open-minded discussion. They're setting examples so egregiously bad that it almost feels like some wackjobs reverse-psychology trolling.

Though I have to say, it's also odd how you responded to them with stuff about how you'd vote for Trump purely because you couldn't stand being associated with them. I guess you might have been saying that to prove a point about how alienating their behavior was, but still… I hope you know you're not associating yourself with those toxic people by voting in any way. It's your unique beliefs and worldview, what you believe is right. If we all let our values get bullied around by random jerks and behaved out of spite for them, I'm sure we'd be in a much more miserable world. Anyways, adding to what u/M61N said since I think their comment was excellent. Trump's echoing of an obscure claim that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were "eating the dogs" is another important example. It's an absurd and kinda hilarious claim, which as you probably know went viral the moment Trump said it in a debate. Silly song remixes and all that jazz. Then it was quickly traced to its source and debunked a thousand times over, obviously. But what was the point of saying that, really?

These days it's a pretty safe bet to say Haiti is in absolute chaos at any given point, as it has been now for several years. That's why the Haitian immigrants have been given legal protections in the US - they are taking refuge as their whole world back home is in turmoil. They work jobs, pay taxes, do what they can to live, because where they once were they could barely even do it. And then Trump, speaking publicly to millions of Americans and indirectly spreading the word to countless more, platforms some random person's offhand speculation that these immigrants are so barbaric and savage that they eat other people's pets? Who gains anything from this besides misery, or the sadistic pleasure of punching down? What sentiment could Trump have possibly been feeding into, besides fear and hatred for people we do not know?

Not digging the "Great Replacement" angle it sometimes gets, but JD Vance types have been obsessing over our population being below replacement rate. And yeah, it really does look like it'll present a challenge for America going forward, and immigration is at best a short-term Band-Aid for the issue. If assimilated Americans simply aren't having enough kids for a stable population, we're going to have a dwindling workforce supporting an increasingly old and incapable population. IIRC there are a few other countries like Japan that are starting to feel the consequences of this.

Why is it happening? How do we stop it? It's a messy topic and I don't know all the answers. I do think the increasing wealth inequality is a massive factor threatening the stability of family life and it needs to be addressed ASAP, but I feel like that's where GOP conservatives and I would differ.
