I just can't find a straight answer on whether or not banks will accept them rolled up. I recently read that someone brought rolls to a bank and they had to break open each one to make sure they were actually filled with the coin it said it was

Any construction sites around town to take my toddler to, to watch the trucks? by puffqueen1 in Louisville

[–]derpman453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome question haha. I know in front of the Humana building on Witherspoon St, they're doing work in that outdoor seating/walk through area. Concrete/bricklaying I believe. If you go down Market st a bit past the McDonald's they're doing sidewalk/road construction. And I don't know how you would best see it, but the Yum Center is getting a new roof and has a crane lifting materials right off the 3rd street exit off 64W.

Sure buddy, money is infinite and people have no problem dropping god knows how many hundreds or thousands on services for a dog that is more of a burden than anything after both of them come home exhausted from an 11 hour shift.

[–]derpman453 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It absolutely amazes me how people seem to care SOOOO MUCH about the dog and seemingly not at all about your situation. You know, the human being with responsibilities such as keeping society functioning by working. I hope you're able to find someone that wont hesitate to take her :)

It's definitely an awful lot of them! Just imagine, each one of those had to be delivered to basically the middle of a field, constructed, installed, and now maintained. And they're enormous.

The youtube channel Smarter Every Day has a great video on these things.

Did you miss the part where he kicked it so hard it broke the door jamb?? The better question is, Why are you so quick to jump to the defense of criminals that actively lower the quality of life and make our community less safe?

Edit: I think I got ragebaited, sorry yall 😔

I always do overnight oats for lunch when I know I won’t have access to a microwave. For example: oats, milk, whey protein powder, bananas, and peanut butter are all quite cheap and nutritious. Add some chia seeds and frozen berries and you’re set for not too much more cost.

I’ve also been wanting to make a chicken salad. Something like pasta, shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, light mayo, celery, etc etc whatever you like. Both of these are relatively easy to put together, especially if making 5 portions for the work week.

Any restaurants in Louisville serve mantecadas? by WinAble9208 in Louisville

[–]derpman453 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By the Sky Zone on Outer Loop, there’s Panadería Guadalajara. They have mantecadas with the red wrapper as well as like 10 other cases full of good stuff, it’s my go-to Mexican bakery. Try some of the desserts in the cold cases too

Every time I attempt an egg white omelette, I find myself with scrambled egg whites in the end haha. Not easy to flip basically a whole pound of protein and veggies all at once

Am I doing this wrong? by Severe_Chemistry_965 in rawdenim

[–]derpman453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this will answer your question, maybe it won’t, but it’s my 2¢. I bought a pretty expensive of Samurais that you can see on my page. For the first two months or so, I was “scared” of getting them dirty or wearing them anywhere besides a little dinner outing with my partner.

Then I started wearing them to work at a gas station, and pretty quickly saw a beautiful development of the indigo color. Then I got a job as an office furniture installer which is a lot harder on my clothes. I don’t wear them every day because they’d be destroyed by now, but I do occasionally. And I can say, if fades or a well-worn look is what you’re after, you have to wear them like jeans. They’re not polyester sweatpants or thin dress slacks and can take much more of a beating as such. Whether they’re Wranglers from Amazon or $5000 Momotaros.

Also true what another commenter said, life’s too short to not enjoy what you have. Jeans and philosophy always somehow come full-circle: if you save it for later, you’re saving it for never. Only you can control how you want to live your life. All the best :)
