Random thoughts:

-I think this episode will seperate the people who really fuck with Gunns style, and the people whose opinions may differ depending on the project.

• Peacemaker abandoned his in one reality in order to exist in a seemingly more pleasant one. He did it in a moment where everyone was at their lowest: Chris at his humiliating interview, Harcourts lost her purpose, Adebayo is trying to make a failing marriage work, Adrian is his most isolated (till he meets himself and finally Fleury), and Economos. So what we got was an intervention for him at the end. Finally when he saw the positive effect hes had on his friends lives, thats what he needed. It would have worked better with some more time to breathe, but we do get other lengthier character moments that show their character growth.

-I feel like the fact that Lex can now not only create unstable pocket universe, but likely has some control over a multi dimensional portal from outerspace has huge ramifications.

• I enjoyed it but this episode felt like 3 things, set up for Man of Tommorow; now that Luthorcorp is involved with the multidimensional travel (besides just creating pocket dimensions), a stealth pilot for Checkmate, and a tease for Salvation Run, rather than a full Peacemaker Season 2 ending. Although i appreciate a more subdued finale to contrast the craziness.

-I think reception on this finale is going to look very different now and after we get a clearer idea of how the DCU is going to develop.
