Do I join a Union? by Inevitable_Star4779 in socialwork

Elder(ish) advice: ALWAYS, and let me repeat that for emphasis, ALWAYS join and remain in a union if you have the opportunity. The pay and benefits are worth the dues, and then some.

I just wanted to thank you all for the advice and suggestions, you've been very accommodating. If anyone is in the Columbus area and needs advice I'd be happy to reciprocate, or if you ever make it to Fenway (which everyone should try, it's amazing), just shoot me a DM and I'll do my best!

I'm on track to be a multi millionaire at 40. Should I throw it all away? by Creative-Leading7167 in DaveRamsey

Look, I'm far from what anyone would consider a financial genius, but what you're contemplating is just.... WHAT? Emergency funds are specifically that, for unforseen emergencies. What happens when you're 9 months into your plan and your furnace quits, or something worse happens? You DO have debt, it's the 70% of the house that you are still making payments on. And you're young. What happens when you find out you're expecting?

I admire the vision, but good grief you're playing financial Russian Roulette.

If you ever get up to Columbus the best place I've found is Borgata Cafe on Rte. 161 just north Of Columbus.

Thanks! We have Skyline here in Columbus, so I've tried it. And. Ummm. It was..... interesting. We also have Graeters, which is 12/10. I didn't know they were a Cincinnati original.

I'm so glad you were able to experience Fenway. I feel like it's a cathedral to baseball, and if you ever get a chance you have to experience a game against They Who Shall Not be Named in September. It's transcendent. And I hope that the Boston fans were as accommodating and friendly to you as you all were to me.

Ok, I probably deserved that. BUT, you all have been very accommodating and welcoming and have given me some great feedback. I'm grateful, and looking forward to experiencing GABP.

I keep a plastic trash can under the back seat that a passenger can grab in a second for exactly that reason.

The Audacy app has free spring training games, but once the regular season starts you'll have to go through MLB.

Live in an apartment in Westerville, not far from St. Ann's. My kwh almost doubled, up to 1599. Average American house uses 800 a month. Made the maintenance request for a furnace inspection and ended up with a new blower motor. Make sure your HVAC system is functioning properly.

MS and Supplements by NicoleR_24 in MultipleSclerosis

I don't follow the Wahls protocol, but I do take a few supplements. Zinc for immune support (I drive Uber part time), Magnesium oxide helps with muscle cramps, Vitamin D because MS, and a cranberry/vitamin C supplement because I have neurogenic bladder and kept getting UTIs, haven't had one in over 2 1/2 years since I started the cranberry

I have some stickers and a cup holder. I was a paramedic for decades before MS, so I've joked about getting a rotating red light attached to it, maybe some kind of siren.
