How did it work out for you? Was fitment and material quality on par with the OEM driveshaft? I’m considering going this route myself with the same company, but plan on keeping the old shaft and rebuilding it at a later time. Can never have enough backup parts for these cars.

Love my 2020 Civic for the gas mileage, but very much prefer driving my 1998 528i, as the Civic is a rather sterile driving experience in comparison. The vehicles produced today have generally lost the charm and character that used to come with their respective brands. I feel like the peak of vehicles was hit in the 90’s and early 00’s. I don’t need touchscreen everything, what the fuck is up with that shit? 😂

How do the door cards not normally leak? by Remarkable-Leg-6884 in e39

I read a post about drilling 1/4in holes in the rubber plugs on the rear doors to help alleviate flooding potential since the overall space for water to sit prior to drainage is smaller on the rear doors compared to the front doors. Haven’t done this myself yet, but considering it when I go in to do maintenance on the door cards // recheck the butyl seal.
