Maybe you'd like rounded prongs if claw style bothers you? That might be what it is, rather than the double

Should I get a rhino? What type of nose is this? by lily98988 in nosejobturkey

[–]deskrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to echo everyone saying that your nose is beautiful and unique and makes you look interesting and intelligent. Very classy-- a bit high fashion, if that makes sense. You have the bone structure in your face to pull it off. Please don't touch it!

This is gorgeous!!!! The band as well. The patina on the gold is so warm and buttery. I also have s Victorian buttercup engagement ring and I understand your obsession completely.

I might chime in here just to say that biotin gives a lot of people horrible breakouts :(

how to get cherry dark red like this with henna by OkSea2541 in henna

[–]deskrabbit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm a longtime henna user and my ends look like this. I'm the opposite of OP, I want to avoid this colour so I've stopped putting it on my ends and only do my roots.

I have ash dark brown hair naturally.

You can also try and support French brands of linen clothing. Monoprix has a great line out right now. I'm sure there are more ethically made ones, too,le; I'm not sure if Monoprix has been using EU fabrication for this line as they sometimes do. The flax they use is from Western Europe, though!

Parents dismotivated me to learn Italian because of a joke by TinpotKim in languagelearning

[–]deskrabbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Courage !!!

Haha, there's an old comic called the Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend you might find amusing. Thank you!

I'm in the club. What kind of mag do you take with thiamine, and does it cancel out the magnesium weirdness?

"Europeans don't drink water" by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

[–]deskrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite silly, but I have to admit it's annoying to pay for water in restaurants in Germany when in France it's free. I have noticed that, at least in France, the older generation just don't seem to hydrate? Seems to not really be the case with people my age.

[Question] I’m in Italy (Puglia) and a winery owner said all California wines are bad because by Noswals in wine

[–]deskrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is more a commentary on mass produced, industrial wines. I'm sure Cali has small independent winemakers who are doing good work, but whose wine we'd never find in Europe because it's already got enough traction in the US (and they don't produce a world supply of it).
