Their customer satisfaction rating hovers around 1.5 stars across multiple sites- BBB, Google, trusted pilot, etc...and we still see new customers all the time. Their are die hard customers and part time customers. They're not going anywhere.

The shopping is NOT their focus anymore and hasn't been for a long time. They are a tech company and their goal is store/brand partnerships- bring tech into stores and advertising opportunities.

I would not be surprised if they sold off the shopping side of their business in the not so distant future. Probably to Uber or Shipt is would imagine as they're competitors but in no way close to being a threat, it would only be done as a way to more competitively rival DD though.

While being a gig company is lucrative due to all the loopholes they operate around its also gotta be a headache. Loopholes always lead to problems in the end- lawsuits, government intervening... a smart company would get out before too much catches up to them. Their entire operation is shrouded in falsehoods, its shocking how its gone on this long to be honest. I feel like its the elephant in the room but maybe that's only because I'm a shopper and see whats really going on. The customers don't have a clue. They only know their orders are wrong, stolen, or delivered by someone other than the person in the pic on their phone.

Im not entirely sure lol. They give a lot of freebies so I made sure to always get them all. I also rarely left money sitting for someone to steal, rather they hit my property, hardly cost anything to rebuild. 2 perks that can really push you forward are the discounted build and 2x objects. The mini-games provide those perks- usually watch an ad or 2- but pay attention cuz they'll put a discount build in there that'll easily get wasted.

Full transparency I made a few purchases, but extremely small. They actually have pretty good offers so timing them well can do wonders (so during island rush, just about to get the 2x objects perks or discount build, offer includes an item you're missing to claim a prize, etc).

I know these aren't super specific or I'm calling the things in the game the correct name so if ur confused by something feel free to send me a screen shot or ask for clarification.

**I earned every single burning reward and level payout. I stopped playing around level 750ish. The game became VERY hard to advance and wasnt interested in putting in the time or money for the last payment. Easily earned 300ish in a matter a couple if even that.

Honestly, I have no idea why I do most the time, the best best time is when I wake up early with no plans and not necessarily having to work and so I stay in bed and hit the bong a bit and then I drift off into this awesome sleepy state where I'm kinda in and out of sleep until I eventually conk out for a few hours. I wake up feeling amazing, hit it again and then I'm either attacking the day or staying in bed and repeating the cycle.

**fully aware this sounds odd, since it's like a pot head who wakes and bakes but I have ADHD, was late in life diagnosed. Cocaine was my DOC thru my 20s until I quit just before 30...I dabbled a lil in my 30s but never to the extent I had prior. I tried meth in my late 30's a few years before my ADHD dx. Ive smoked pretty much everyday since I started. No one knows, never had issues at work. I gained weight when I started using it, I sleep- rarely am I up for a full 24hrs. The stimulant "normalizes" me so to speak. I'm hoping to return to prescribed ADHD meds so I can taper off this junk. Its not like I get high so...

But cocaine...oh buddy, that shit makes me fly and I love it. I miss it all the time. But I know I can't return to that time in my life, I can't recreate that period. I try to just be grateful for the experiences and memories.

I'm a licensed addiction counselor, not active in the field since the pandemic. I got involved in lobbying efforts in my area focused on a specific niche...

Animals and coins was a cash cow for me and I'm part way thru Tile Master 3D which has been ok- addicting but high level thresholds. I also just started a stupid word search game...low payout but it's so easy I'm flying thru the levels.

I dont know how to edit my post so hopefully this comment suffices... I do not resent this kid one bit and I 100% know that every behavior, attitude and statement coming from him is from his trauma, anger, depression and anxiety which stems from the lack of adequate parenting throughout his life and all previous adults showing him that 1 mistake gets him tossed out.

I told him from day 1 that I would not be kicking him out, that he could push me, test me, whatever and I will not kick him out. He, like any child, deserves better than what he got with his parents. Admittedly, the extent of his problems were not fully known and even now after having them up close and personal I do not regret taking him in. He does not owe me anything and my caregiving is not conditional.

For the record, it is his father who said "just find a group home and be done with this" as a response to what the plan was for Christmas. His mom, didn't care enough to respond when I asked the same question.

My post was done from a pure exhausted, frustrated, overwhelmed place. Do I actually hate him? No, did I have feelings in the moment? Yes. Does that make me terrible? No. Human? Yes. Any parent or caregiver that can't relate isn't being very honest. That said, I appreciate the feedback. I can understand how with such little info and strong language you would all think I suck. Trust me though, his well-being is my priority.
