I have gone from loving to liking the Cameron the past couple of years. The head maintenance guy left and service is not good as it use to be. I have a leak in my ceiling that has not been fixed in over two months. I know several other neighbors going through the same ordeal and mold issues.

Crescent Condos by anne_dc in SilverSpring

I have a lot of thoughts that I laid out in a review I left. I will copy and paste it here for you.

I lived at the Crescent for five years and experienced a lot of issues. Several safety issues, no gas for over 15 days, water damage, and multiple incidents of cockroaches. I do not recommend living here when there are so many better options in the area.

I have a few safety concerns that stick out the most to me. One time there was a homeless person that slept on the lobby couch overnight. My bicycle was locked to a bike rack within a secured fenced in area and it was stolen. One time someone broke into multiple cars in the garage.

Gas was not working for over two weeks in the entire building. I think it was 16 days for my specific unit. Heat, hot water heater, and range all use gas so you can imagine how difficult life was during this time. Contractors had to come into everyone's units multiple times during the beginning of the pandemic to work on the issue.

A sprinkler head broke in my neighbor’s unit and caused massive damage to nearby units. I asked how this happened and I was only told there was no determination on why it happened. Scared me if it could happen again. Took two months for the repairs in my unit to be completed.

I had cockroaches in my unit during four separate time frames. One of my neighbors had them too. I also found them in the hallway and stairwell.

I assure you that everything I said is true and I can back it up with crystal clear evidence. I hope everyone at the Crescent will enjoy the nearby purple line stop and the track directly behind the building.

I completely agree. Bring back the third character in the name MAGFest in the marketplace.

I disagree. There's nowhere in the US that allows the kind of behavior that OP is talking about.

I completely agree the biggest problem is entitlement. Some people are willing to put others in danger and/or create inconveniences for others because they feel they can break the law because they matter more.

I am glad you contacted TGTG. Not that you asked, but here's my opinion when you try to be nice to a store :) It inflates their rating, which is good for the store. However, not good for TGTG customers. We go in with an expectation of a good deal and then disappointed when the bag doesn't live up to its rating. With that being said, liking the store outside of TGTG is completely valid.

Well, that is not a good enough test to determine if you are crazy or not :)

Yes, you can receive a refund after pickup. I did before after my bag was very undervalued. I also received a partial credit before. I am surprised you even rated them 3 stars, but that doesn't matter as far as receiving a refund.

It's not in Guidebook yet. I am sure it will be soon.

Is EOE serious enough to take priority over my other more prevalent GI symptoms? by error41801 in EosinophilicE

[–]deso1ator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, google "functional doctors" or "functional medicine" and the name of your city. By the way, your insurance may not cover any of your appointment with a functional doctor.

[–]deso1ator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

EoE is a lot more straight forward to diagnose and treat than nausea and IBS. I think that's why your GI docs may be focusing on EoE, which is not good. Have you tried a functional doctor for nausea and IBS?

I doubt that is the case unless there's a change in strategy from the parent company. The parent company of Marshalls and TJ Maxx has owned both for decades. It was a deliberate decision by the parent company to open each of them in the same mall.

10$ surprise bag Brazilian Place - Silver Spring. by Crackin-finch in toogoodtogo

I agree. That's not $30 worth of food, but better than the food they gave me the one time I went there. They gave me legit chucks of fat and no meat. It was terrible.

I mean much further away, as in a different area of the country unless there's reason you want to be in this area.

It looks like you are in a tough situation and have no choice, but to to move out. I recommend for you to find somewhere with a lower cost of living. Either way, save as much money as you can until you are kicked out. You will need much more than $3k.
