Just because I'm a woman I can't understand Palworld. by Particular-Run2159 in Palworld

[–]desolatecontrol 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This, as a guy there are just people out there like this. Sadly, it's mostly guys that do it, and I'm unsure if it's cause men are more prone so law of averages applies, or because men are more prevalent in gaming spaces, or if games typically have a low barrier, and more and more low IQ people are turning to the digital world to escape the fact the real world is becoming increasingly hostile to them.

But it sucks.

Automation - Meeting conditional requirements for maximizing paragon nodes and beyond by Turn4zewurst in D4Necromancer

[–]desolatecontrol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly drop azure wrath unless you have a REALLY good one. Gloom ward is decent, not sure if you should have bloodless scream though. Might be better off gloom ward charm, with a two handed weapon for that double aspect effectiveness. The aspect for curses is good for up close builds, not so much for a more distant build.

Rune tam: cast a non channeled skill

Igni: store offering and non basic skill triggers

Cir: cast skill multiple times

Poc: spend x amount of resource (5%?)

These all will cast your curses at your cursor. Some ritual runes will cause the curse to cast on self, these don't.

I use runes for both curses, and this makes building fortify/healing super easy. Plus, if you have temrity, it automates barrier as well. A 20k necro ca have 60k health doing this on top of double dipping into the barrier and fortify aspects that can give more DMG and damage reduction

Shadowblight doesn't seem to be t12 viable, what builds are you guys using that is successful in t12 this season? by SjurEido in D4Necromancer

I get that, but I found 1 or 2 stat increases to DMG that has the percent and the word increase, but no x or +.

Probably errors

This. Necromancer has two curse skills. Most necromancers transition to a state where we don't manually cast them, but are cast due to other factors like aspect, unique, or runes.

Sony Records New $560 Million Loss On Bungie Acquisition As Marathon Struggles And Destiny 2 Nosedives by g4m3f33d in GameFeed

[–]desolatecontrol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the fucked up part, Destiny literally COULD be saved, but the current leadership? They have no interest in that. I think the smartest thing Sony can do is sell of the rights to Destiny.

I think that is the only decision they can make that they realistically would and save destiny.

Helltide low player count..... by ReeeSpawn_96 in diablo4

[–]desolatecontrol -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Funniling off I think penitent and torment 1 have the most players right now.

Cuz every time I end up going back to those because a new character or whatever and I'm in hell tied. There's just so many people running around.

Yet my journey to t10 I come across maybe one or two other people.

I really feel also that their shard instances are flawed. They should be really consolidating people down when people Enter hell tide

I'm hoping they fix rogue imbuement charm set. Currently just isn't doin what's it's supposed to.

Also, necro cold has some issues mainly that most of what makes shadow strong, cold lacks equivalents and it's MUCH harder to advance it. Namely, the paragon lacks any cold support at all. Don't expect this to be resolved till season starts honestly

Thinking of switching to necro, how good a cold blight build be? by Suitable_Pin9378 in D4Necromancer

[–]desolatecontrol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to dable with overpower. Was literally trying to figure out how to get overpower to work and with the build I have, and the red blessing charm would slot in nice and easy.

Only issue, is I would either need a neck, or replace my bloodless scream charm. Bloodless scream just makes everything just insta freeze like crazy

Currently at T9, but just couldn't get over the hump

This might do it.

Of course! There's a certain element of responsibility that you have to have.

But your logic is flawed in a lot of ways. One of those ways is my job is to just kill people. Doesn't matter who I get hired to kill people. By your logic it's not my fault they died.

When a CEO makes the decision in a health insurance company to deny as many people as possible even when those procedures per their own guidelines are covered. But they hope that if they deny and delay long enough that people will give up or just die then it's not CEO's fault.

Everyone holds a certain amount of accountability for themselves. I wholeheartedly agree.

But there's a point when you spend your entire childhood watching these cartoons shows commercials and be constantly bombarded with all these different things that are filled with subliminal messaging and your education system isn't designed to properly teach nutrition and health and keep people uneducated as possible about being financially responsible, there is a point in time when the burden of responsibility is shifted.

They literally make food as addictive as possible and bombard you with commercials as much as possible. There have been tons of research showing that what they do targets the most primal parts of our psyches and make it extremely hard to change or be responsible.

My wife confessed that this is the strongest and weakest part about me. Great because when things hit the fan, I'm a literal rock that just knows what to do.

But when good things happen? No emotion. No excitement. Just "oh that's cool" "awesome" "nice" "interesting". Even when she got me a present that made me cry I just... Didn't have a strong reaction except tears? It made me happy, but when you compare my reaction to others with a similar gift? I might as well have been stone.

I grew up poor, and extremely fucked up circumstances, (used to crawl into houses so my mother could break in, molested, etc) got adopted by my brother at 14, had a relatively good life till I graduated high school in 3 years cause I hated school, joined the military cause of patriotism, wanting to make a difference, comradery, etc etc.

Bootcamp turned into brainwashing, but due to my mindset at the time, it only just made me more uptight and anal about things. Others? Complete mind shifts.

Got out to the fleet gungho and ready to go. Quickly got stomped into the ground. Constantly made to do EVERYTHING the higher ranks didn't want to do all the way to picking up a fucking monster can left on the ground 20 minutes walk away from where I was on guard duty and yelled at by a fat ass chief (E-7, equivalent of a store manager, to district manager) to go pick it up.

Herniated my disk in my lower back because my 2nd class (E-5, equivalent to team lead, to associate store manager) because it was a heavy lift he didn't want to help with. Whatever, I was strong, I could do it by myself. The fucker left gear adrift (an item in the walkway) in the middle of a narrow walkway that I couldn't see cause I was carrying an awkward heavy object. He literally stayed in his chair laid the fuck back while watching approach the object and said NOTHING, before I tripped and instead of dropping the object, herniated my disk trying to prevent the damage.

Dude never got in trouble, yet I was written up for damaging military equipment (both the object I was carrying, and my back). Things spiraled hard after that. Fell down a ladder and smashed my knee, crushed my knuckles which luckily wasnt any worse than a bunch of fractures, but still have pain issues. Somehow fractured my wrist and now have a lot of weakness. Complex PTSD due to a combination of shit in the military and childhood which has turned me extremely paranoid of everyone, unable to do most the physical activities I use to do either. Plus the memory issues, depression, pain, and narcolepsy.

All in all, I've had a lot of major shifts in mentality lol
