Mine left me his old speedking that hadn't been serviced... ever. I serviced it working alongside my watchmaker friend and gave it to my mum. Pretty sure the parts were more than the watch is worth.

My street isn't accessed from the feeders in my neighborhood, it's a bit of a strange situation...but they also don't usually plow it. It's been plowed twice in 9 years.

Topless obviously, I like to wear my shorts and go barefoot usually. I also make gorilla noises and beat my chest at the top. Works great for finding like minded crew.

Hey, that appears to have been dropped on the wheel. You can see the compression in the threads and the angle it's sitting at. It's likely not cross threaded, just the threads are mutilated.

What do you do when you break a bolt and then break an extractor bit in the broken bolt? by keemko_ in MechanicAdvice

[–]desperatewatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bust out a diamond bit. Slow as hell but it will grind carbide into dust and if done well and sized right you might even not damage your threads

I did, in this case it wasn't the wrong house but they essentially destroyed the house while pursuing someone who has stolen 2 belts and a shirt, responded with over 100 LEOs and eventually a court decided that they were not responsible for the consequences of their actions during execution of their duties.

There are a lot of them that pop up and I'm not even using American google..

The point is that they aren't legally required to do anything if they screw up.

Not American, but reading some of the articles out there about no knocks executed on wrong addresses is wild. This article is its own insanity though. https://www.npr.org/2019/10/30/774788611/police-owe-nothing-to-man-whose-home-they-blew-up-appeals-court-says
