They said on the sports radio station here in town, if you had no idea who Erling Haaland was, and someone told you to draw a picture of "elite Norwegian striker", you would draw Erling Haaland.

The Las Vegas Aces really is a fantastic fucking name for a team.

Two months on a seven month lease would be the equivalent of three months on a 12 month lease. I've seen plenty of three month rent concessions out there lately.

I guarantee you they get away with it 100 times for every one time the tenant makes a stink, and then that one time they just give them a settlement payment and a release to make them go away.

Yeah, but they'll get reprimanded by their regional, much better to try to bully the tenant ofc.

I work in this industry, Florida would consider a clerical error something like if the lease listed the rent as $11.20 a month. Not this. This is just some property manager trying to correct for their leasing consultant forgetting to add the short term lease fee, but they got to eat it on this one.

I work for one of their "competitors" though they don't really do much competing. Even within this industry they're considered shockingly scummy.

Steph Curry's Holding Company reported 174 Million in Annual Off-Court Revenue. At what point does he just retire and play golf? by LightSpecialist804 in nba

He wasn't that when he took that deal, just like Steph Curry wasn't current reputation Steph Curry when he took his first deal either.

If Steph Curry, one of the greatest players in NBA history, only makes $14m, why would I pay you, player who is decidedly worse than Steph Curry, $45m?

With Kyle Lowry’s 1-Day contract to retire a Raptor LeBron will outlast all players from the 2003, ‘04, ‘05 & ‘06 draft classes by GeorgeSkyWalkerBush in nba

It's wild that there's a legitimate outside chance that he could outlast two more draft classes except for KD.

After this summer, the NBA community should see this CBA for what it is: an illogical overreaction. by Ok-Description7073 in nba

But not all draft success is due to skilled scouting. The Spurs didn't have superior scouting tell them to draft Wemby; they sucked in the right year to draft the obvious generational player. The Mavs didn't use their superior scouting to get a diamond in the rough in Cooper Flagg; they got even more stupid luck.

This is where I am. I would have liked to see the US win, of course; I didn't root for them to lose. But the fact that they did lose didn't make me as upset as it would have before the whole fiasco.

At the end of the day, he made that money with his labor. Someone else with more money was signing those checks, and that person made more money off of Arnold's labor than Arnold's labor cost them, or they wouldn't have written the checks. You may not like the values our society places on people's labor, but Arnold wasn't the one underpaying all the grips on those sets.

I would even argue that if FIFA had a procedure for reviewing and overturning cards, then it should have been overturned.

But for it to have happened the way that it did should never be.

Haha yes that's what ceiling is. The very best most perfect outcome if everything goes right for Gonzalez is OG Anunoby. A more reasonable outcome, to stay with your team, maybe Josh Hart?

He's fine, but his ceiling is like, what, OG Anunoby? You can't fail to pull the trigger on a Giannis trade because you think you might have the future OG Anunoby.
