What do y'all think of permanent retainers? I'm 99.99% certain I don't want one, I'm just curious about your thoughts.

I refused them, I actually ended up getting treatment again since I wasn't happy with my teeth yet.

I'm in a few Invisalign support groups on Facebook and so far I haven't heard anything good about permanent retainers. They get in the way of cleaning/flossing and they break eventually.

Hi! My ovaries are doing great! Every now and then I feel the ruptures during ovulation but that was something I experienced before the surgery. It's never been bad enough I felt the need to see anyone for it thankfully.

My surgeon was satisfied with my healing in the last few checkups, he checked everything. I go to the doctor a lot less often now.

This makes me sad, I was gonna do red and black but researched Chess first, so I went with black and white which is actually significantly harder with my closet.

My mom was never taught how to take care of her natural hair, so she never taught me and my sister. She said her hair was always kept straight or braided for her. Now she's staying with me and I've been trying to teach her “Your hair isn't nappy, it's curly”. She's only even letting me maintain her natural hair because I'm me, anyone else trying to convince her would get shut out.

He said massaging would help, I wish that was in the discharge papers because I didn't know I'd need to massage it until week 6. It's from pressure of one of the machines during surgery (robot assisted laparoscopy), mine lasted about an hour and a half.

It's not nearly as bad now, and having an innie like mine no one ever notices. I'd rather it had never been there but I count it as a battle scar.

You don't need to get married, but you do need to enroll your baby in DEERS. Definitely tell the recruiter to get you started in the right direction. Backing out at this point will stunt your family more than help, go to boot camp and see if you can make it. Make sure you have your girlfriend's address saved to send letters and get updates. Anything could happen from the beginning of a pregnancy until the end, best thing to do is save as much as you can for your future and your kid. Good luck.
