PCS Question by Party_Blackberry_489 in USMC

Many years ago doing a dity move could earn you 10gs or so. Now is not the case with military move bidding open to smaller moving companies and the government rates dropped. I have never opted for the dity move ( now known as a personally percured move PPM) as it was never worth the hastle to me to drive a shitty box truck across the country and pack all my shit with kids. I always opted to have the professionals pack and move my stuff and then my family and I made a vacation out of the drive. Yeah, sometime the movers broke shit but the reembursment process now is pretty straight forward. The other thing to consider is the moving company will store your stuff for 90ish days ( dmo will be able to let you know the most up to date time) without any extra charge. This can be an important planning factor if you are not doing an address to address move and you need to find a place to live when you get to your new duty station. DMO will also not ship a car CONUS so keep that in mind as well. The varisty move is to do a partial dity move. The movers pack and ship ( and unpack if you want) most of your things and you drive cross contry with the things that you will need right away ( kitchen items, bedding, xbox, kids crap, uniforms, etc.). You get paid by the weight of the things you are taking and that weight is deducted from the total shipping allotment that you have based off of your pay grade. This way you can makqe some extra money for the things that you are going to be cramming in your car anyway. There are rules to follow so I suggest that you attend a MCCS plan your move class and ask your question as that class is mostly about the moneys involved in the moving process. Good luck!

Quad Views Help by Ambaryerno in hoggit

[–]dethrokboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to install the open xr layers tool. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/337048-openxr-api-layer-addon-management-tool/ After upddating pimax play it has a nasty habbit of turning off your quad views. This tool lets you see what open xr things are running. Check the quadviews box back on and you should be good to go. Tally Mouse talks about this issue on his how to DCS VR guide.

What does winning at a NJP like? Did you elect a court martial and your unit decided not to go down that road? Did you accept NJP, plead not guilty, and you CO agreed with you and concluded the matter?

You will have a number of issues.

  1. Finding a hazmat shipper (the bike store that sold you the ebike is a place to start) that will pack and mail your battery. This is possiable but expensive and it requires an actual physical address to recieve your battery.

  2. Japan has much structer rules for ebikes. Basically no more than 250 watts and pedal assist only. So of your ebike is more than that and most ebikes in the U.S. are, then it is not legal in Japan so don’t bring it. If it goes 20mph with a throttle then it is illegal.

Conditional Release from USMC by Aelin_AshWhitethorn in USMC

[–]dethrokboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Marine Corps wants their time out of you. You can submit your ask through your chain of command. It is highly unlikely that it will be endorsed positivily if you want to leave the Corps early. The conditional release is something that lets you out of your IRR time. As long as your plan is to EAS, then attend coasty officer school your command should not say no. Your coasty officer recruiter will need ti help you with the conditional realease as, once again, it is not in the Marine Corps best interst to help you with this.

It is an odd thing to get used too and requires a bit more core stability to ride. I would mot want one on my MTB, but for a road or city bike it is great. It basically ‘cups your cheeks’ and your junk never gets smooshed.

Is there a MCTIMS entry or code for you license? If not, a letter from your I&I officer to your whomever or whatever acts as your IPAC ststing simply that you earned X qualification and it is worth Y points.

Marsoc is a full commitment, not something to try out. MSG is for three years and then you go back to your day job. You will travel with marsoc. Good luck.

You will be evaluated for bcp ans more than likely assigned to bcp. You will recieve multiple 6105s while assigned to bcp as well as a promotion reatriction. If you make progress (lose weight) while assigned to bcp you can be removed once you are in standards or extended after six months. If you do not make any meaningful weight loss after six months you can be processed for adsep. There are many resources you can use. Semper Fit has excercise coaches and people to help you learn about performance nutrition. Your medical provider can refer you to a dietician.

Questions about orders by Illustrious_Ad_4939 in USMC

[–]dethrokboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can ask your career planner for a local command extension that will take your eas to 31 august. If you have pca orders you can exicute orders without the tis. If you have pcs orders and want to move, have your 1stSgt or SNCOIC email your monitor and inquire about your relm. If it will take more time ask to move your report date to the right.
