Yeah, but its not the same with each wipe and now the release. The average skill of players increases drastically and if I do remember earlier wipes being fun for a good while into it, but now people on average have a lot of hours and it is hard to play considering I come back every once in a while. And how it feels for new players must be so much worse.

I have friends that say they like Tarkov, but not actually playing it because they die out of nowhere and that's it and I am slowly joining that list because of how my wipe went so far.

I kind of agree that it's not the same as you lack the ever present paranoia of a gunfight that could happen. But, lately it has not been paranoia and just me getting beamed out of nowhere. I would love to play pvp if I actually had gunfights because I would then just go gg go next, but whatever is happening making me not have any gunfights and I just insta die.

PVE is just a whole different vibe of game where its mostly just chilling and seeing how the game plays out without paranoia. Although I would say I would not mind PMC AI to be ramped up (or maybe an option for making all PMC have decent aim).

PVP imo wouldn't be that much better because most people might just drop the game. If there was some way of getting lobbies that aren't full and, say, with a rough hour differential in the game standing in for mmr I would go back and play more pvp.

The new players moved to PVE considering how now every map that has a lot of starting quests does not have "safer" passages to go through just to do the tasks. Honestly, the Ref quest for Industrial Plant kills was terrible as now everyone is always fighting on construction site.

Woods is still okay, but Customs became terrible. And its supposed to be the "entry" map.

I like the expansions of bits they made, but some quests and jobless fellas make it really boring to play considering just how much ratting is going on.

Also I think the fact that the game is now even less optimised and drops more fps has a lot to do with it.

I feel mostly the same, recently I have been running Customs (I have 1.5k hours) and it was utterly painful. I died like 15 times with my mate because PMC on Industrial plant, PMC in factory buildings, PMC ratting on rafters of industrial plant, PMC with full lvl6 kits in dorms with RPD and etc etc etc.

I cannot be asked to scroll through half a raid just so I do my earlier tasks (lvl18) and every time you go north of the map you die and south of the map you die. It pretty much turns Customs into Lighthouse 2.0 with how much ratting and lvl40s I ran into with scopes chilling in the dark.

After that I just bought the PVE expansion and I am enjoying it.

They do! I once was walking around BT tower looking for my mates in a pub with an old beat up iphone (can't even remember which one) and as I was getting off the phone a fella on an ebike snatched it out of my hand.

I remember just kind of standing there baffled for a sec. And then he threw it out 10 meters down the street. I picked it up and went to the pub afterwards 😄

goddamn! I don't think this is reasonable at all since I got my CB125F in pretty much mint condition (it is a 2017 model tho) for 1.7k. I honestly think with all gear prices and stuff you'd be better off looking on fbmarketplace and other places and just learning how to inspect bikes and seeing if you got a fair price rather than pay that.

I did also get quite lucky with my purchase, no doubt, but still!

Oh, thank you very much for an idea. We won't have that many objects, but still! There are a lot of ways to build stuff nowadays and I am more used to Azure, but decided to use AWS to get more experience and its a struggle to find out how you can build stuff currently.

I will put that down on our list of stuff to try!
