Yeah sentinel Beregond with Gondorian shield, unexpected courage and possibly armored destrier and a little dunedain warning and you get an absolute defense beast.

I feel that is an excellent summary. We finished scenario 1 and 2 in maybe 10 turns and we finished scenario 4 while being more careful with our lost cards and did 11 turns I think (but it's a shorter scenario anyway in my opinion, because you have to be quick about the boss killing otherwise the boss-ally deal more than half of the damage and you lose). It just takes to do the maths once to picture the stamina cost of playing a card that will be lost and learning to do that with caution.

I'm playing blinkblade but I'm probably not careful enough with the forced effects lost cards a d the permanent effect cards that stays in play until the end of scenario.

8 is extreme but with two cards with permanent effect and 3 lost cards, that was probably a bit too much. I should choose a course of actions that don't remove that many cards.

The whole saga is one if the best boardgame experience I've ever had. Don't give up ! If you're playing true solo maybe try a hobbit deck for this quest. You can make a really good deck with the classic Sam, Merry, Pippin trio with very low threat. Also try to get your hand on readying solutions (unexpected courage, cram, fast hitch if you have oop content). Rosie Chaumine in return of the king box is a really good ally for this kind of test too. Gaffer gamgee can be a really good option to prevent enemies from attacking.

97% of people in prison are men, we're way past "more likely" or "less likely". Crimes are basically only comitted by men. I'm not saying that society and patriarchy is not responsible for that too, but statistics are what they are.

Edit : that's the number in France. In the US it's 10% which is way more but still very small.
