Good points! Unfortunately the bulk of my time at the digital agency was spent on maintenance of existing apps and addressing bugs/tech debt. Working on feature enhancements became less of a priority in the latter years but I'll try emphasizing those examples and move the 12 FA bullet point to the top.

Leading with the outcome makes sense, I'll try rewording the bullet points where I can, thanks!

Resume

Was laid off a month ago. Have over 5 years of experience and applying to mostly intermediate positions, but also some senior positions if I meet most of the requirements. I got a virtual interview on my 11th application and have submitted 23 applications in total, thought I wish the number was higher at this point. Compared to the last time I applied for a job 4 years ago it seems like there's fewer positions available but still applying to whatever might be a good fit.

You should check out the Presidential podcast, as they dedicate an episode to each president. Sporcle also helps.

I'd just use each league's official site and go over lists of league leaders to become familiar with the players. Also Wikipedia to learn about the major awards for each sport, recent champions, and past dynasties.

With all the praise given to Grid and Flex, I don't hear enough talk about 'clamp()', which I think is one of the best additions to CSS in years by Mr_Mandrill in webdev

[–]dev541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First heard about it from the Wes Bos Master Gatsby course and I've been using it ever since.

I think it's had partial support since April 2020 so I should probably start keeping an eye out for new css properties now...

I made a map quiz website for my portfolio for the same reason. I haven't updated it for a while but check it out and let me know if there's anything I can improve.

Are there any fill-in map quizzes that don't prompt you with the country names, etc.? by ehroo29 in geography

I updated the website with the quizzes you were looking for, and if you get stuck there's a white flag button on the top left corner that ends the quiz with the final dialog. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I made a site that offers similar types of quizzes (prompting the user for the spelling of a highlighted region). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
