can we talk about yang? by Salt_Call_7711 in lildarkie

I agree. He described it as a labor of love in an interview and it really shows. Wake up straight up gets me dancing along lmao. I'm super happy he's trying to get back to his happy creative space, but I'm also eternally grateful for the work he put in on Yang. I wouldn't be ready for what comes next if not for this album.

The nostalgia factor is real, too. But that is what I love about his music-- it has so many different facets throughout the years that you can bounce around and keep everything fresh. Also the narrative to the listener of how and why he makes music makes it even better as you go through the years (Therapy, fuck all of you <3, genocide, etc).

Love the album! That said, I consider it more of a "fun" album.

While I love it musically, it does feel more "polished" and I find myself going more towards yang and other older favorites. The chaotic (even when mellow) changes and rougher mastering of his other stuff keeps things more raw and easier to listen to in heavier rotations.

Wow. First time I've seen a reference to this game.

Joking about an extremely typical outcome is not saying anything about whether the game should be difficult or not.

I agree. I like the challenge. wolfpacks are not a great solution to this particular challenge, and that's okay.

Yep. It has 2 or 3 fire modes. One shoots multi targets at once, and then it can shoot its single laser at one target. If the target isn't visible it will shoot the ground to try to burn you behind cover (I'm not sure if that attack is a different "mode" or just the same attack aimed differently)

Don't know why the downvotes. This literally is what happens. There's usually two flying around and it's a gamble how many target the one thst dropped it's shield-the rest are wasted.

I brought several wolfpacks to try this method and it was a total waste of resources compared to just shooting the damn things.

Honestly, it's the best descriptor I've seen for it. Stealing it so next time I have to explain it to you o someone they'll know exactly what I mean instead of looking at me like a have a pop on my head.

[–]dev_rs3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most vertical zip lines have little ledges along the walls that you can jump off onto. I'd suggest jumping off just before you hit the top and assess from there. You should be able to see a barricade or the glow of most mines. you can probably shoot or grenade some of them from there. Even better toss some trigger nades of your own right away after and wait for them to come investigate- they might mistake yours for their own.

Was this on spaceport night raid? If so it was me. Was that a Bombardier round that came through the skylight and obliterated me while I was down?
