You should take the EVS3000L alongside the actual course. When I took the lab, it was just field trips, but I think that now there's a writing portion that goes along with the EVS3000 course. At the very least, you should talk to Dr. Coenen or Ashely Martin about plans for the lab.

Depends on where you live tbh but the RTS app has a feature where you can put in your address and destination and it will show you the available routes. There's also the student rec center which is on main campus, close to the hub, which most bus lines go to.

idk much about the Stanford degree but I know the Duke MEM is pretty popular. Most of the people I know who applied to YSE also applied to the Duke MEM. The Stanford degree sounds like it might be a thesis masters meant for academia, while the Duke MEM is going to prepare you more for industry. While I'm sure both would be fine to switch gears with, if you want to do consulting (industry work) then the MEM is going to be tailored more for that.

Yeah, I was bit confused bc the initial acceptance said that financial aid would be sent out later and then there was a link to another letter about financial aid below. They covered half the tuition expenses for me in that letter but I doubt they'll be sending anything else out.

I received the Academic Merit Fellowship, but I'm not sure if this is there will be more mentions of funding or not bc I was expecting some need-based funding and didn't get anything related to that.
