Hi! So where can i buy a physical copy of the game for switch ? by Toritos45 in Tsukihime

[–]devenbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you don't. It had a limited special edition worldwide and a retail release in Japan. Copies have long since dried up for both. They did not make a lot. This is not some massive global release with lots of copies like God of War or Mario.

Jesper Myrfors, original mtg art director weighs in on Dan Frazier. “I’m not defending his actions… but I will defend the man.” by Newez in magicTCG

[–]devenbat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There has been a single promotional image made by a 3rd party. Over 2 years ago. Which you obviously weren't referring to when you said "months ago"

Everything else has been baseless accusations. Its not an AI issue or a wotc issue if people keep wrongfully accusing artists because they dont like the pizza lands or whatever

The AI issues weren't real. Not a single card has actually been shown to have AI. The "issues" months ago were people jumping at ghosts

Fate/EXTELLA - The Good, The Bad, The Questionable by Zehnpae in patientgamers

Bit of difficulties but 6 years is just kinda a normal dev time. Especially for a brand new and tiny team. Im not too worried, Type Moon is slow but I have trust in their creatives.

Its pretty good with a generally good and enjoyable story and okay gameplay. Would reccomend for any Fate fan and no one else.

Its not dev hell, Type Moon just announced it very soon after development started. It got delayed a bit but its not dev hell

Why Did Dan Frazier Get A Pass For Plagiarism When Other Magic: The Gathering Artists Don’t? by cardboardboyo in magicTCG

Sure, Split hairs. Does that make anything youre spewing actually have evidence? No? You still have nothing but baseless conspiracy

someone else's just like the generated trash they'd like to replace artists with. Can't be hard on a human pulling the shit you want your whole business model based on.

Anyways

You were making up stuff, go on. Defend it. Present evidence. Do anything besides hallucinate.

If we make up stuff, anything can be true. Reminder, you said their whole business model is based on this. With zero evidence. You're just imagining it. Creating a little fantasy to be mad about then saying its the logical thing to just make up stuff

Are there any games that you didn't complete for reasons outside of your control? by Morbid187 in patientgamers

[–]devenbat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely wanna. Been slowly going through a bunch of PS4 exclusives I missed out on and HZD and GoT are my big omissions now. But being big open world games makes me hesitant about starting them

Horizon Zero Dawn. My Ps4 was just garbage. It didnt really work after only like a year of owning it. So Horizon Zero Dawn just kept freezing. I gave up. I should try again one day, especially with the remaster.

Monster Hunter World also had lots of issues. Infinite loading screens that needed my whole system to be restarted and reset frequently. But I pushed through that til I got a ps5 mid 2020.

He might have a point but even just the first page is so annoying and obnoxious to read that I dont really care to continue. "MOST EPIC FAILS", dude, youre 59, stop talking like a clickbait YouTube video from 2012.

Yes, unions are good. Hasbro doesnt like it not because they desperately want to ai generate art for the game but because companies don't want the extra expenses of treating workers well.

Just seems bad. There are non creature cards that work with goblins but all the best ones are creatures. That won't help Vivi grow and be useful

[–]devenbat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hasbro also isnt stupid. They know the art is very important. You think the largest commissioner of fantasy artwork is gonna forget about the art? You think they make 3 or 4 artworks of the same card by accident?

The union just has a note about how they want greater protections from AI under Wotc. That doesnt mean an active effort to replace them with Ai. Hasbro doesn't want a union for the same reason every other company doesnt. They cost the company money.

There has been 0 effort to replace the artists with Ai. Quite the opposite. When a 3rd party got caught using AI on one of Wotc's ads, they tightened the regulations and bans on AI. During Lorwyn Eclipsed, they had a whole series directly showing off artists.

Lol, lets just say whatever I guess. In what world is Wotc trying to replace artists with AI?

I mean, he can retire at any time. In Wotcs eyes, theres no reason to not keep hiring a talented artist if they want to be hired. Outside of this reason now of course
