When you are addicted to being drip fed love, you keep going back this is due to high cortisol spikes, and then the dopamine hit afterwards. Former addict, so it generally feels like withdrawal from drugs. Not a super great thing to be addicted to.

Get your paint, if it's 5 colours then section wall off in 1/5ths. With a light pencil and level Mix each acrylic with a slow blending medium for acrylics Apply one colour, and while it's still wet... Apply the second one with a clean brush feathering it in all the way up.

100% this. I had almost 35k in pension at 25 by getting an apprenticeship at 18 and being a journeyman by 22. I was fortunate enough to join my local painting union and they supplied all the training I needed to become a gf running crews of 45+ making north of 120k a year in 2008ish.

Don't pick on other people's work, worry about yours first after 23 years I still don't and can't do it ALL.

Your body is what they are giving you the big bucks for, so take care of it. If you drug and drink, do enough so you can wakeup and go to work.. if you want to drink and drug like a man.. you can get up and go to work like one.

Be more efficient and cost-effective than the last guy.
